$72.00 to change 4 tires that took 15 minutes?! You just lost my business over the new owner's greed. I used to pay around $40. I will simply go to Discount Tire and drive right past your stores.

I've checked with three outlets that work on jeep cherokee sport vechicles about a clunking when making a sharp left hand turn. All three come up with different ideas with what is occurring when the vehicle makes the sharp turn. The dealership that handles Jeeps wanted to replace the control arms and trac bar. Another wanted to replace the steering control box and Big O didn't have a solution. At least they were honest when one employee said his jeep did the same thing without a solution. The Big O employees checked for loose connections and worn parts but said everything was tight and couldn't figure out the problem even though they witnessed the problem themselves. Since it is my everyday driver, It will be driven until something comes up that people can relate to or an accident. Hopefully not the latter!

Two days after Big O in Montrose, Colorado put the snow tires on my car, I was driving to Denver for a next-morning flight to India. After coming down from Monarch Pass, the left rear wheel came off. All of the lug nuts were gone. This could have been much more serious -- even fatal. Eventually, the car was towed to repair facility in Buena Vista. My son drove over from Denver to pick me up in Buena Vista in order to catch my next-morning flight. While I was in India, the repair facility in Buena Vista fixed my car. Upon my return to Big O in Montrose, the general manager of the store acknowledged that it was the fault of Big O not completing the tightening procedure on the left rear wheel, and ordered the service personnel to check ALL the wheels. I presented the invoices for the tow, the repairs, and gas for my son's truck. Since then, I have heard nothing from Big O in Montrose. I intend to go to Big O today and inquire about the progress of my case.

I changed one of your tires that had a nail in it and my wife brought it in for repair. They did a good job but did not put the spare back in the spare tire holder. My wife did not know to ask, but I would think it would be normal to put the spare back in the spare compartment of the vehicle.

I found myself needing 2 rear tires for my pickup. Jesus, on the phone, insists that not only do all 4 have to be the same size but also the SAME BRAND. And tho they don't have 2 of my brand in stock, they can sell me 4 new ones of the same brand. I appreciate people try to up-sell, but dont appeciate having some kid try to B.S. me. Sorry, but I'm heading over to Standard Tire and Service.

I am very disappointed with the level of service I received on Saturday, July 15th. I came in to get an oil change and tire rotation. After the work was completed, I only got 5 miles out of town and my vehicle was shaking so bad, that I could only go 50mph all the way home. You were already closed so I couldn't go back and have it looked at again. I live in the Westend-1 1/2 hrs away, and it took about 2 1/2 hrs to get home. I did take my vehicle to a local tire guy yesterday, and explained the problem. He pulled off the front tires and found massive amounts of dirt/mud inside. He cleaned them up-knocked all the dirt out-put them back on and it drove just fine. So--pls instruct your employees that when rotating tires, they need to be checked out and cleaned before just putting them back on. This situation caused me more time and money that was unnecessary, if the job was done right in the first place.

My wife was told, buy your guys, that she needs new ball joints on her honda. We took the car to a front end specialist shop and they said her ball joints were fine. A while ago I took my truck in to adjust my emergency brake cable,. I was told I need to emergency brake pads. I had just put on new pads the day before and just didn't get the cable adjusted right. I was told another time that I needed brake pads on the front end of my truck. I bought new brake pads and went to install them to find out my pads were just fine. If your guys are getting a commission for selling these jobs, it should stop. Really thinking of doing business somewhere else do to this . I have bought all my tires for our 3 vehicles in the past. You probably wont use my response for advertising. Rich Bailey

Had old snow tires removed and replaced with almost new set. Mechanics removed all 4, but remounted one of the old tires. Fortunately I looked when I got home or I would have driven around with a miss matched set of tires and my newer tire would have been disposed of. They need to slow down and these mistakes would not happen.

Wow! Called @ noon to schedule rotation and alignment check. Said be here by 5 will be no problem. Showed up at 4:40, garage mostly empty but can't do it!! Took time off work! Pathetic customer service. Won't be back

Four trips to this store for a slow leak in a tire. These people not only didn't fix the tire. The tire had to be replaced because I was driving on a tire with insufficient air in it. The worst experience I've had with tires EVER. I won't go back. Their attitudes match their lack of work ethic and bad character.

All they tried to do was sell me a new tires, would not solve my issues while I was on an emergency trip to see my 90yr old father in the hospital. But today now that I am back home and can get the car into my shop, I will fix in on my own.

I've used Discount Tires in Denver for over 30 years...NEVER had one problem. I moved to Montrose, Colorado and there is not a Discount Tires in Montrose. I had a slow leak in one tire and took it to Big-O for repair. The first time they told me it was the valve and replaced the valve....wrong. I took it back and they told me it was a rim leak...also wrong. The third time I didn't bother asking and told them to please fix it...and, once again they did not fix it. The fourth time I went to the manager of the store and he told me it was the sensor in my car....also wrong. All four times I waited for a lengthy amount of time, even when nobody else was in the store. The store is filthy, the young men that work there have long greasy hair and not one of them EVER looked or behaved with the professionalism I saw consistently at Discount Tires in Denver. I've had a competent and customer service friendly auto repair shop pickup my car (yes, they picked it up, fixed it, and returned it), which is now fixed the right way. A friend of mine told me they took their car to the same store to switch from winter tires to summer tires. After THREE hours they picked the car up and they were charged, only to find that the tires had NOT been switched. They were told they would still have to wait for the tires to be switched. Another friend told them that $800.00 was stolen out of their glovebox when they were at the same store. You have a really bad store and American Express has credited my card. They won't be paid. Not only will I NEVER go back, I will tell everyone I know about this experience.

Fast but horrible service. I had an oil change and my tires changed out for the season but when I and left I noticed what a disaster it was. I had a huge oil glob left in my car, the door handle was covered in oil, my tires had elongated puncture marks in them and part of my hubcap was broken off and put in a different tires hubcap. After driving the four blocks and noticing this, I went back. I inquired about each portion of what I just mentioned and they told em everything was fine and normal and that my tires were 100% good to drive on and they didn't have anything to do with the damage. Additionally, they didn't even tell me that I needed the boot on my car replaced and had gone out a while ago. I gave them the chance to fix it and they did nothing. I took my car to two other shops in town that confirmed the tire damage was due to the machine they used to put my tires on with and that they were NOT safe to drive on. I called and informed the shop of what had happened and expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation. At first it looked like they were addressing it and working through what happened but that has since fallen off. I have tried to be understanding and to allow them to make the situation right but they are doing an awful job. Not only did I have bad service, they wouldn't fix their mistake or acknowledge it and they guaranteed me that they were safe to drive with. This puts my safety at risk on these winter roads! Also, now the general manager won't call me back to talk about the situation after he asked me to email him the information. Awful!! Don't go here!

I went in to have my brakes checked. I knew I was going to need something done. They said I needed pads and rotors replaced. After I agreed to that and an oil change, over an hour later they came back and said I needed the calibers replaced too. They said they couldn't get them to collapse, and I could come back in a couple days when the guy who has the right tool would be there. I told them to do the oil change only. I ended up going straight to another mechanic, where they did their own inspection. They recommend new brake pads, rotors and a serpentine belt. I got all that replaced for HALF THE PRICE that BigO quoted. Last but not least, I was a quart low on oil only 40 min after leaving BigO. The mechanic added more for $5.99. Come to find out, I could have saved another $30 with this other mechanic for the same oil change I had at BigO. Not happy with BigO!

Ruined put our spare on which matches all three other tires. Tried to by a spare. They did not have same brand. And would not sell me a tire for spare which they had because the other salesman all ready told me because it didn't match our tires. I told him it was a spare, like a donut Tire to get to a town to get a proper Tire. He said it was against company policy. Big O is Big zero. Big failure. Drove down the street and got fixed up immediately. They matched us with different brand same circumference for spare and we are gone. Now going to write them a great review

I needed new tires replaced in the front of car- Big O in Montrose replaced front tires with rear tires and new tires in the back. When my husband requested new tires change to the front, it all went bad and was physically assaulted by two employees. He was trying to help his wife.

I have been a loyal customer for more years than I can remember. As you know I recently purchased a new set of snow tires for my truck. Immediately after picking up my truck I noticed a vibration. I took the truck back to see if I had lost a weight or something. They returned the truck to me and I still have a vibration. I live in Montrose and work in Telluride as I'm sure many of your customers do. I spend about 3 hours a day in my truck and really don't have a lot of spare time. I have been doing business with Gary for many years and always look forward to seeing him and so I make these comments with no intent or reflection on him. Please feel free to contact me. I have perfectly legal tires on my vehicle which I wanted rotated. The guy I spoke to told me although the tires were legal they would not rotate them because they were "just legal". The funny thing is I was told the same thing about my other vehicle the weekend prior. And the employees there always find something else I "need done" to my vehicles. I'm done going to your shop. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.
