Big O Tires

The Staff was pleasant enough but it still did not overcome the fact that I was being SHAFTED . You see I rebuild and restore old cars and when a tire store moved in right next door I was thrilled...till I gave them the "TEST" . I went in and asked to have 4 bolts loosened on my Breaks so I could replace a rotor at home. This is a 5 min job if you are a doffis who can't find the socket and to be fair it took them about 3 mins. Not a problem so far But I then had to wait 15 mins while my truck sat in the parking lot and was charged for "20 mins of labor" because "WE have standards we have to abide by" . COOL. Then I listened to the guy give me a $1000 dollar Quote on Tires that cost 600 bucks as if it would cost $400 to mount some tires and taxes like I was a idiot. So I felt cheated AND Insulted all in one visit. Enjoy that $50 because it will be the last cent you get from me and I'll Drive by when I get new tires for my Silverado,Suburban ,70 monte carlo,78 trans am, 72 K20 , Motor cycles and ATVS if I thought you had those too and any other car i build in the future . MESSED UP . Epic FAIL. So in Short if you think 2 mins of work costs $50 these guys are for you. As for me I have standards i have to abide by too. GOOD LUCK.

Easy to schedule service. Service techs were friendly and kept me updated.

Everyone was wonderful until after I bought a set of 4 tires. Evidently, they were mounted incorrectly and I kept losing air in two of them. Every time I took them in to find the problem, I was told it would take hours to accomplish the check. I do not have that kind of time, so they would only add air to the tires and send me on my way. Finally, I had a complete failure in one of the tires and took it to them. They could not find a suitable used tire to match up to the rest, but they evidently did find the problem with the other one and fixed it. Finally, after a week I went back to insist that they get a replacement tire for me, which they finally did. Three weeks later I had another complete failure, on one of the tires, in the middle of the night on a dark remote road. I took the tire back the next day and they again told me they did not have a suitable replacement. Being fed up by now, I asked how much they would give me to give all of them back. Because of the improper wear, they were not going to give me anything reasonable. I WILL NEVER USE BIG O AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I CAN ABOUT THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED.

Went into the Store on Timberline rd . Fort Collins Colorado. To have my truck re-aligned under the warranty I had purchased, with work that had been done previously in Arizona 2 months prior when I purchased 4 new tires from Big O. After waiting 45 minutes I walk out front my truck is in a different space and I have to ask someone what the issue is. I am then given a quote of 1206.00, for a new rack and pinion and tie rod ends plus labor. Truck was just at another shop and no one said a word. The Big O shop(Arizona) had replaced a cv joint for me, and aligned the truck. Get quote and leave, take my truck to a competitor shop truck is aligned and I am back on the road with no issue. Previously my son had taken a car in ( same shop) and had been quoted for repairs that were plausible but not necessary, 1 1/2 years prior. I feel that it is a ploy by this shop to drum up more work . Big O has lost my work in Northern Colorado. But they did offer me a discounted alignment if I got the 1206.00 worth of work done, JOKE and SCAM.

Helpful staff, good value, and excellent service techs doing the work. I've never felt I've been misled or cheated.

I have already discussed what happened with the mgr...you asked me to write a review so here you go. I had an appt for an oil change and tire rotation. I was called to the bay and told that my head gaskets were leaking and that it was clear to the mechanic that there was coolant in my oil just from inspecting the cap...they did not do the oil change. The next morning they called me with an estimate of $4,000 to replace the engine with a used one, I was told that was cheaper than replacing the gaskets. I took the car to my normal mechanic and was going to have them do any work that needed to be done. I was surprised and shocked, albeit very happy to find out that there was absolutely no coolant in my oil nor oil in the coolant. THE GASKETS WERE FINE. nothing needed to be done . Mistake, hard to believe it was!!!!! So, if a zero rating was available I would have picked that. BEWARE!!!

I booked the appointment with Trevor. I let him know I needed an oil that isn't common.(0-w40 synthetic). Trevor assured me they would have it on hand for my appointment. When I checked in Trevor was there and had the correct oil for my truck. It is not common that a business will exceed your expectation. Big O and Trevor did great. Please pass along my appreciation. Bought tires and had alignment done. Week later I had a flat tire. They fixed my flat and told me I needed an alignment. They forgot about me in the waiting room. Went there a month later to have air put in the tire that they had fixed. They told me I would have to wait an hour and a half. I don't want to go back to get my leaky tire fixed.

Every time I bring my vehicle to this location, I know that every person working will help answer questions, check the status of my car, even little things like helping with the wifi. I always feel well taken care of at this business. It's wonderful.

I came in a few weeks ago, for some new tires. They changed all 4, did and alignment and put new tire pressure sensors on. That day went fine they helped me out, I was on the road. About a week later, I hit a pot hole, called the Friday before I came in and as told to bring it on Saturday they will fix everything. I show up Sat. They do not have tires in, the manager helping me was rude. Made me feel like I wasn't important, he walked by me like he was going to the bathroom, saw I was still sitting there then turned around, realizing he didn't have my keys in his hand. He turns around angrily grabs my keys, hands them to me says we will have the toes for your car Monday. Flash forward, Tuesday afternoon I recieve a call that tires are in. Working two jobs I dont have much time to bring my car in. That Thursday. My boyfriend brought my car to be worked on for me. His experience as about as bad as mine. After they applied the new rim and tires, and had made a call that it as ready. He arrives at the car to find a flat tire. Hours of waiting to come out to a flat tire. I woul love to be contacted by Jim. I will not be coming to this store anymore.

I went in because my reverse lights didn’t work they replaced the bulbs they didn’t try to sell me any electrical work They just took care of the problem that was all I appreciate honesty and integrity I will definitely return

You are the tire guys the "experts" that's your job so when I get a call saying my car is completed It should be completed. Everytime I get serviced from big o I get in my car and my tire pressure light is still on. So I have to get out and tell the front desk guys who just yack their jaws at me like I'm an idiot. Telling me that I need to drive around or maybe it's a bad sensor. I know what the issues is though, if they would have just done their job in the first place and payed attention to what they were doing they would have realized the tire pressure light was still on and would have gotten it completed before I had to bring it to their attention. You guys have a rather simple job, make sure you take care of the service on people's vehicles, people have other fish to fry that's why we bring our cars to you guys so just simply do your jobs. I am on my final straw with Big O and your terrible service!

The process for new tires was painless and the selection good. Big O completed the work very fast. I received a call and text when the work was finished.

Went in to get my car alligned. Then still had problems, got it checked out and my tie rod ends were about finished, which negated the alignment because I would have to get the wheels realigned after the tie rod ends were replaced. Then I took the car in to get the tie rod ends replaced (inner and outer) and they only did the outer ones! So essentially i have paid for 2 alignments, and I still need to pay for a third after I get someone else to replace the inner tie rod ends. Oh, and I paid labor for the tie rod ends but still have to pay for the labor again because they didnt do the outer tie rod ends. Classic sleazy mechanics. Not ever going back.

Setting an appointment was very easy and was allowed to visit with the person performing the service about some questions I had about the brakes. Everything was fine.

Waited over two hours to have my oil changed and tires rotated. I had to double check everything they did because it didn't seem as if they really knew what they were doing. They pulled the car out and began to check me out, and I asked if they had rotated the tires and they hadn't completed the tire rotation yet, had I not asked for the second time this would not have been completed. I'm not your babysitter I asked for 2 simple things an oil change, and tire rotation, get it together guys this is your job!!!!

Dave is genuinely honest, so knowledgeable and he takes time to explain everything to a lay person.

Staff are so friendly here - I don't worry about trusting them at all and will continue to take both our vehicles here. So glad you opened a location close to our home.

Great experience every town. Very honest and friendly team, very clear communicators. We trust them.
