Horrible service at your Timberline store in Fort Collins, CO. I called and talked to David Mackey about dropping off our CR-V that had a flat. I was told they were only taking drop-offs (he was rude and disinterested on the phone), so I arranged a ride and dropped off my CR-V at around 9 am. When I arrived I talked to Bronson Klick, who was actually the only nice and professional attendant. I gave them my cell number and they said they would call when my car was ready. I called them at 4 pm to ask about my car, and they said it was ready. When I arrived, I talked to a guy (name started with a T, located at the middle station) and was told I needed a new tire and that they called me and left a message. I did not receive a call nor did my husband. They said I would need to purchase a new tire, even though we paid for the extra protection plan, and it would be 30-45 minutes if I wanted to wait. I asked why they didn't call me and said it was ready when I called. They had no excuse. I asked to speak to the manager, and they said he wasn't there. They couldn't give me his name or a phone number. I said I would be back before they closed. I came back at 5:45 and was charged for the tire and $14 for the tire protection plan..again. I left and when I got home, I noticed the spare was still on the car and the flat tire was in the trunk. I was furious and called them. I was charged for a tire and service that DID'T even happen to my car! No one could figure out what happened. I went into the store and they said they didn't have my replacement tire and that I would need to go to another Big O store. All stores, of course, were closed by this time. I drove to the Big O store on Mason, and even though they were closed, they took my tire and rim and said if I came back today (10/29) they would install it. They did so this morning. Needless to say, I will never shop at Big O again and will be contacting your corporate headquarters.

They did not have the tires I wanted in stock. They had to order them and they showed up the same day. It was going to be late in the day. I had no hurry and said completing the install the next day would be fine. They finished by the end of the day and was able to pick it up the same day (when I was expecting the next day).

The tires were great. However, the service tech said the car needed the following items addressed immediately: Front Wheel Bearings $155, Front Shocks $336, Center Link $293, Rear Differential Fluid Flush $100. Once these items were done, then an alignment could be done $75. This seem odd to me as the car was just in the shop in April and it was noted the front end was tight. I declined this recommended service and took the car to another shop for a second opinion. The second shop said none of the items recommended by Big O were needed. I will not be back.

Big O Tires keep my vehicle in tip top shape

By Donald Richardson | 9/6/2019
I had to talk them into checking my rotors with a dial indicator. I had to talk them into changing my brake fluid. The air wrenched are turned up so high they broke 2 lock lugs. On one wheel they sawed it then I guess took a hammer to it to break the rest it off. During this process they destroyed the hub assembly and probably damaged the rear drum. They tried to send me home twice in a car that shouldn't have been driven. I had to findy own replacement wheel. One of the rear wheels locked up on me and made some noise like a loose part. I'm not even sure I have Toyo tires from my first trip through there.

Gone to Big O in Parker Co and Ft Collins Co for over 30 years. Never had a bad visit. All stores and employees were and are great.

Went into this shop for brakes and struts, something wasn't right and we went back in. They told us the car was safe to drive, it wasn't. We went to the other Big O on Mason and they took care of us. Thank God this didn't decide to fail at high-speeds when my daughter was in the car. Contacted corporate where, "Total Customer Satisfaction is the Big O Tires goal", absolutely no response from this location. Avoid at all costs.

Everybody is always so friendly, explains things well, the location is always clean. It’s just an easy experience every time I get service done.

BUYER BEWARE! I came in to Big O Tires on Timberline on 7/11/18 for a simple tire rotation. While waiting, a mechanic approached me with a dirty air filter and a filthy cabin filter. He told me they were from my car. Since I just had both replaced in May, I was immediately suspicious. Refusing to allow the mechanic to do anything but a tire rotation, I then drove to my mechanic. Together, we pulled out my air filter and cabin filter. They were almost completely spotless. Underhanded, Big O Tires! Shame on you for your lack of integrity and your greed.

The customer service was great, and they were very timely. They got me in and out over my lunch break. Very satisfied.

For the first time at either Big O location in Fort Collins, I did not enjoy my experience with this new set of tires. The Big O associate that I usually dealt with at this location is no longer there and his replacement seems more like a stereotypical used car salesman. He said a few things that didn't sound right, and when I fact-checked him later, I found that he was not being truthful. He also tried to get me into a tire that was the wrong size for my car. When I told him I did not want my speedometer to be off by even 1 mph due to tire size, he was almost disgusted with me. He came across as completely untrustworthy. I am still not completely sure the group even performed an oil change - but he'd "be happy to show me the dip stick." Give me a break. I may go back to the North College location just to avoid this asshole.

I brought my vehicle in for tire balance and rotation. The service writer a bit short with me to start off. I explained how I wanted the spare tire rotated in and even drew a picture. The tire were not properly rotated and the spare tire lug nuts were not tightened. Very frustrating and a waste of my time. Do I return to have it done correctly or do I just do it myself, but wait I paid for this service? The staff was completely different from a few months ago when they performed the same service and did a great job!

Dave is very kind, helpful, and trustworthy. He is very patient with me when I try to explain my car problems, and he explains everything clearly. The young man who rang me up is very personable and friendly. The shop is clean and classy. I really like the place and the people.

After considerable research to find a reasonably priced tire for our son's "new" (1996) Jeep, I decided to buy 4 Cooper Discoverer M+S MSPN COOP-50445R tires from Big O, which were listed on you website at a price of $85.99, which would result in total tire price of $343.96. However, when I went into the BigO Timberline store, the total price (with all of the various taxes and fees) turned into $508.41, which is 48% higher than the tires themselves. I can think of no other item we buy which lures customers to stores with a price expectation, and then tacks on 48%. Note that the Sams Club website is much more upfront and honest about pricing -the additional costs are simple and transparent when pre-shopping on the web, and significantly. A similar priced tire there results in only a 26% markup for taxes, premium installation package, and disposal fee for old tires. I prefer to spend my money at locally owned businesses, but I just will not pay this large of a premium.
