They told me to bring my car in on a Friday this was a Wednesday and they never even looked at my car what was the point of bringing it and then?

By John (Chip) | 9/6/2019
Joe (new employee) ordered new tires to be delivered the next day. Unfortunately he ordered the wrong size resulting a delay of several hours before other tires could ordered and available- Generally your service is superb.

We are so disappointed in our visit to Big O in Monument. I went in because my car was "shuttering" while turning and I was leaving town and felt I needed it fixed before I left. They drove the car with me, I pointed out the shuttering, and they said it was the differential and it would cost $600 to be fixed. I thought it needed to be done asap, so I took it in the next day. After it was "fixed" and on the receipt it said the test drive was perfect, I drove it home. They, also told me if i had problems in the first 20 miles to bring it back in. As i drove it home i knew it was not fixed. I took it straight back to them and told them it is still shuttering. They went on a test drive and did "donuts" in a dirt area and they told me both my tires are spinning at the same time. They took it back to the shop and looked at my transfer case. They said the case was empty, they filled it with transmission fluid and sent me on my way. I drove to Utah and still had the shuttering. Took it to a shop there and they told me... The car has pos-attraction and both back tires are supposed to spin at the same time. They said it needed a conditioner in the differential fluid. As they checked the differential fluid they noticed it was very low (not sure how that could happen when Big O just filled it 4 days prior). I asked about a leak and they said there wasn't one. They also had to add it to the transfer case. So I ending up spending $700 on simply adding conditioner. I am very disappointed in Big O.

the staff is always friendly, service is fast for oil changes

First, I bought tires earlier this year - I have been by your shop at least 10 times since then to fill up my tires. I was in Saturday and was told they "couldn't find anything definitive" on why my tire(s) keep deflating. Next, I am disappointed that I was not given the "snippetz" discount for the oil change even though I didn't have the coupon with me - previously, this was not an issue because we have spent so much money there. Next, my husband had his truck in there and in spite of him telling you EXACTLY what was wrong, you insisted on charging the diagnostic fee. I believe you refunded him a small portion of it...He then told you there was a nail in one of the tires but you failed to fix that. Finally, after getting the truck home, he found trash your tech's had left in the bed of the truck - a parts lubricant can, which I still have and can show you. While you may be the only game in town, I would rather travel somewhere else to have my car worked on if this is the type of service we will be getting. I must tell you, I can name AT LEAST five other individualas who have stopped going there due to poor customer service.

I had the oil changed in my BMW everyone was very nice. The front counter personnel was very friendly. Even with some of the problems that they had with the car.

We bought a set of new tires here (Cooper brand) for our new truck a year ago and they did the alignment, rotations when needed etc and the tires have worn so badly with only 11,000 miles on them that they need to be replaced. They're worn in such a way that's obviously from poor alignment but of course with the terrible customer service they're not willing to admit it could've been their fault or to stand behind their tires and remedy this for us. Said all they could do was give us a discount on a new set. Ha! Not buying tires from this location EVER again. Tired of being treated like a schmuck everytime I go in for help. $1400 down the drain. Expensive lesson but it's been learned! Take your business elsewhere!

my experience while getting my tires changed was fine, very standard...until... I am a resident in the Monument area of Colorado. On 7/2/18 I went into the Big O Tires in Monument Colorado, I was informed they only had two tires left and to come back in about 30 minutes and my car would be ready . Once I arrived back at the business establishment I was handed my set of keys and went up front to pay my bill. While the employee was swiping my credit card we all heard a loud noise and turned around to see what had happened . On the date of 07 - 02 - 2018 at around 3:30 pm. my car was backed into by the same employee that had handed me the keys to my car in another customers vehicle. The manager showed no surprise that this had happened. He handed me a handwritten card and informed me that I just needed to go down to the body shop up the street and get an estimate, and he would take care of everything. I had asked multiple times if I should call the local police and make an official statement and the manager informed me that since he is Corporate that is completely unnecessary and then again informed me that I just need to go down and get the estimate. Having never been in this situation before, I left the Big O Tires and drove up the street to the location he gave me on the card. The shop had relocated to a place further up the street I drove all the way over there and upon my arrival multiple people in The Establishment told me that this happens at this Big O Tires all the time. Including a car falling off of a lift a week before and multiple other incidents. The shop Big O sent me to informed me that they are in extreme debt to them because of how many accidents they get in. The estimator then called the manager Nick on the phone and specifically informed him that he is trying to "help him out" with the estimate and do the least amount to keep the cost down, but that my car was damaged bad enough that I would need a rental vehicle. Nick then told the gentleman that there were no more rental cars available, so that was out of the question. I was immediately uneasy about the situation knowing that my car would not be fixed back to factory settings the way it was before I drove into that Big O Tires that day. Colorado law states that I I'm allowed to choose any establishment that I see fit to do the repairs on my car. I then left that bodyshop and drove to a very trusted company who has worked on my car in the past. After receiving my estimate I promptly emailed Nick the outcome of the estimate. I was then called by Nick and told that the estimate was too high and he was unwilling to pay it. He said he will not be paying it unless I go to the shop that he prefers. Nick and I have had multiple conversations and came up with a solution that I would get a completely impartial estimate from another collision center who is completely impartial to me and my vehicle. I then went and got another estimate from someone completely different and sent him over the information. After about a week and a half of no response I resent the email informing him that I was ready to have my vehicle fixed, because I was beginning to notice interior damage from recent rain storms. He said that he still thinks that the estimate is too high and he refuses to pay it. I then went to another Collision center and got another quote from another trusted agency that I believe would fix my car back to factory settings. I then went over to the Dealership that I bought my car from in 2015, and I got another estimate for the damages brought on by the Big O Tires. All the estimates were very similar. I then informed Nick that I got all of the estimates and he said they are still too high and he refuses to pay them. He then offered to come to my place of employment to pick up my vehicle and take it where he sees fit. After getting the run around and being very disrespected by this gentleman I did not feel comfortable with that situation. I then informed him of Colorado

Tony, haven't seen you at the store in a long time. Hope you are well. Service was good-bought another set of tires this time. The store itself is looking a little ragged, dirty etc. Needs a little updating and cleaning! Still my favorite tire store!

My tire blew out around the corner from this place so I only needed "one" tire changed. Mr. Beau Brooks, the salesman, gave me a quote over the phone for "$88.00" before I had my car towed there. After my car was dropped off there, and the tow guy left, the initial quote changed from $88.00 to $459.30, then to a whopping $640.77. The salesman brought all type of alignments, kits and excessive fees out of nowhere. And refused to just change "one" tire! I have a feeling the guy tried to scam me because the tow guy had already left and he though I was desperate. I had that same tow guy come back, tow me over to Discount where they changed my "one" tire in less that 2 hours with 12 people in front of me. I do not recommend this horrible scam location. Based upon my research, it's not "Big O" as a whole, it's just the Monument location. Don't put up with these guys at this locations. Go where you're wanted, appreciated, treated with respect, and not scammed!

I had an appointment at 4PM. At 4:45 my truck was still sitting in the parking lot and had not been touched or looked at. After finally getting my new tires installed the spare tire was thrown in the bed of the truck rather than being returned to its normal storage location. I came to this BigO hoping to get better service that at my prior tire provider. At the moment i am regretting that decision and i absolutely hated my prior service at Discount Tire!!!

When I first received this survey notice I was going to make it most and highly favorable. I have been coming to your store for 13 yrs and purchased many tires for all my vehicles. The entire time it was without issue and always great customer service. Now for the event that led to this review and has me at a loss of confidence and loyalty to your store and business. I purchased a second set of four tires for my Suzuki XL7 rated for 75,000 miles at an odometer reading at 97,908 miles. Currently the car is at 124.252 miles and has had 5 free lifetime tire rotations for my store purchase of these tires. The last set of tires performed admirably and went the distance. The last rotation was done on Friday, 9-07-2018. On the following Monday, 9-10-2018 I had my regular scheduled oil change at McCloskey Service Dept.: which has serviced this car for over 100,000 miles and trust their advice and recommendations always with confidence. While changing the oil and doing their maintenance check they noticed that all four tires were mounted incorrectly. The marked tires read inside faced out on all tires and I was told that the tread where markers were worn down to down to replacement. Beau went out and told me that they were only worn down half way on visual inspection without measuring. Then I was told that this had no effect on handling and performance, but never addressed if this is a safety issue for me and anyone who has ridden this car. The reiterated statement that this has no effect on performance and handling is doubtfully true but is nothing more than an excuse. An excuse for poor customer service and unsafe application of a product x4, five tire rotations and overlooking this faulty application without saying anything and making me feel that his was an ok error. If INSIDE means INSIDE and OUTSIDE means OUTSIDE why would this be ignored 4x about the mounting application of these tires. Certainly, there is a very good application reason for correct mounting. On Friday I was not given a receipt 9-7-2018 for the rotation performed and had to ask for one that day and Monday in which I also not offered one for the work to turn the tires inside out. I asked that it also state the mileage when I bought these tires and the current mileage to document the wear that taken place from improper mounting and application, but this was not done. The invoice only indicated 0 miles on the odometer, really.....I at this point I had enough and wasted more of my time getting this, for the moment, rectified and SAFELY back on the road. This felt like that I was somehow my fault and/or identifying their non-compliance and oversight x6 (first install and 5 rotations). Now my next question; that the invoice indicates that when the non-measured wear bars are reached, the wrongly mounted tires will be adjusted for a percentage of the mile not received. How non-specific is that? Mileage not received from when? When the tire where mounted incorrectly or from when the tires where turned inside out or from the invoice which indicates 0 miles. I don't even know if the tires were balanced and valve stems replaced when the tires were turned inside out. They did get me in the next available spot. I can NOT get away with non-compliance and oversight of job responsibility and nether should you and your business when my safety is concerned.

Walked in the door, Waited looking at merchandise, they took another client, then almost took another before I said something. Did not know I was a new customer wanting to spend $5-700 WTF. Nothing on stock I wanted, pushing Cooper, I didn't want. Went on line, for the advertised product, indications were that the product was in stock. If the other guy wouldnt have been B.S.ing about car parts he was looking for with a customer, then the LINE would have moved smoother. I REALLY WASNT INTERESTED IN WAIT FOR A TRANSFER OF PRODUCT. Drive to the springs! Someone needs to be let go, to seek a different career path! TOTALY DISAPPOINTED. In the review comments... should remove the tires that are in fron of the coffee machine that appears as a storage area.

I stopped in around 2:00 in the afternoon to have a snow tire swap done on my car. I stood in the lobby for a full two minutes while both guys at the service desk pounded away on their computers. Neither one even so much as acknowledged me. If they would said something like "hey, we're really busy right now, but we'll be with you shortly", I could see that, but to not even acknowledge the fact I came in the door? Two more people came in behind me and both guys proceeded to not acknowledge them either. I paid a lot of money at this store for my snow tires and the snow swap. This treatment, coupled with the fact the last time I did a snow swap they didn't tighten all the lugs nuts securely and I lost one has me convinced to go elsewhere. I don't need to patronize a business with such poor, sloppy customers service. Big O Tires, you have officially lost my business!

I scheduled my appointment online and it was not communicated with store. I left my vehicle at 12 and never received a call to pick it up so I called at 9 the next morning and the vehicle was done but still never was called. Also, I went for the buy one get one oil change promotion but was told that it was not honored at this location even though it shows on the website with that store set as my preferred store. I believe this is all unsatifilatory customer service!
