Big O Tires

I just came in for a replacement battery, having bought the failing battery at Big O. It took a while but they finally found what battery they needed and credited me appropriately. The problem was the Interstate delivery guy had already left on a run. They told me it would be about an hour total. It was closer to two.

I had service about a month ago.It was a blustery cold day.I arrived early so I could be the first customer and the designated opening manager must have had some challenge that required attention, because the other manager arrived 20 minutes later and quickly opened up and took care of the customers.

Big O tires did a great job

This place routinely has the best prices around here.They sometimes forget to call when tires come in, but I never have big problems.

Also changed oil

Had my brakes repaired and they did a great job at a reasonable price.

Ordered a Hankook tire and then told they couldn't get it. Had an appointment 4 days in advance and only two tires were there at my scheduled appointment time. Required me to leave my car and make a second trip to pick up the car. Calvin was very apologetic for the problem and gave me a free oil change.

Took me immediately even though I walked in at 1700h.

Grease all over drivers seat and heavy grease smell inside the car.

Service was quick, desk rep. was friendly.

Took 3 hours to have new tires put on my vehicle after being told it would take no more than 1&1/2 hours. Had a 10 am appointment and my vehicle didn't get in for service till almost 11am. Manager did give me a free alignment for the extra wait time experienced.

Used them a couple days ago to have new tires installed as well as do an alignment. The wait time was not too bad considering they were quite busy.

Appointment was at 1100, booked online. I received an email saying that the appointment time could not be met. I called shop and they said bring it in at 1100. I did. At 1145, my truck had still not moved from the parking lot. I told the gentlemen at the desk and within 10 minutes they were done. I am satisfied with the service but when you book and appointment it should be near that time: say 15 minutes.

I had the oil changed in my BMW everyone was very nice. The front counter personnel was very friendly. Even with some of the problems that they had with the car.

The computer crashed twice during my transaction and the agent was very frustrated because of it.

Tony, haven't seen you at the store in a long time. Hope you are well. Service was good-bought another set of tires this time. The store itself is looking a little ragged, dirty etc. Needs a little updating and cleaning! Still my favorite tire store!

Set up appt the day before and on call discussed tires needed for my Jeep. Checked in at 10 am, told should be ready by noon (12 pm). Called ~12:30 pm and was told tires specified day before not in stock, assc on way to get them. Finally ready around 4:30 pm. Over many years going to this store time estimates consistently off by several hours. Last time I went in for a 1-hour service they forgot I was sitting in store and stopped work for another job; I was there almost 3 hours. Prices are OK, quality good, and staff very friendly and knowledgeable, but we have learned to ignore time estimates. Additionally this time they charged for 4 tires when I had 5. They did the job right, but had to follow up to charge me for the 5th tire. As an aside, checking spare tires, esp on older cars, would probably boost your sales as most folk don't think about how old their spare is.
