Save yourself the money and the headache. Don't ever go to a Big O Tires or at least the one on 1301 E South Boulder Rd, Louisville. The worst customer service I've experienced at a auto shop, twice and they will never change. Came back to pickup a car after an alignment. There was a customer sitting in one of the waiting lounge seats. Turns out it was actually an employee, and the one who invoiced me. Dannie Holding is his name. Not only was lounging while on the job, during the filing the invoice he was complaining about how long it took to do the service on the car and how it could have been made easier by the me, the customer. Excuse me, but isn't that what I'm paying you for? To do your job and not lounge in the customer waiting area in one of the seats for customers? He proceeds to tell me what I should do next time to make it easier for the job to be performed at the shop. While he's explains how to make his job easier, I can understand what he's trying to explain. I'm sorry but I'm not a technician and that's why I'm bring my car to your shop and that's what your job is. I counter with reasoning and fact as to how doing that procedure won't make a difference and he continues to argue with me on the topic. I don't need to be treated like a king but have you heard of a instance where an employee is arguing against an customer at their store/shop? It was also written on the alignment sheet that the front of the car needed camber bolts. I returned home took off the front wheels to find that they had not even check to see if there were camber bolts installed. After pulling the bolts out the car came factory with camber bolts. (See pictures.) This makes me wonder if they even performed any of the alignment or just made it so the computer printed out a sheet that said everything was ok. You've read my experience, now you decide whether or not the one star rate was justified. I think it was and it's more than enough for me to take my car and business else where.

I was there to swap out my tires for my snow tires. Was told it would be 2-3 hours. Fine-I walked around town. Called after an hour and was told I was next in line and would be done within an hour and a half. Went back after 2 hours and my car was still second in line(after it being there for 3 hours!). When I asked how my car could possibly still be in line I was basically told-too bad, it's winter tire season..... Worst business I have EVER been to

Adam was very friendly and helpful when I came in with a nail in my tire. First time at this location and I was very happy with the service I received! Happy to return in the future!

Hello, I stopped in to Big O in Louisville the other day because I was getting 2 low air pressure warnings on 2 tires of my vehicle. I work right across the street from you, and was hoping someone could put air in my tires, as I am not sure how to do this myself, and I do not know what pressure the tires should be at. One was quite low (21), so I needed help. The gentleman who greeted me got me in right away, said they would fill the low ones, and check the pressure in all while I waited. After they brought the car back, the gentleman came out and asked me if I would be willing to pay $19.95 for a repair if they found anything. I felt that was an odd question. Why would I authorize a repair when we did not even know if there was an issue, so I declined. I proceeded to wait 40 minutes, when I started to get antsy, another gentleman at the front said, Oh, I have your ticket right here, you are good to go. How long I had been waiting there when my car was done, I do not know. Finally, I went out to me car to find they had filled the severely low tire, but not the other tire that was also giving me a warning. Unbelievable. I do not think this is how you treat a potential client. If they did not want to help me to put air in the tires, they should have either let me know there would be a charge for it up front, or, just said they were unable to help me. I will not go back to Big O, nor would I recommend you to anyone.

I have purchased several sets of tires from your store for me and my wife for many years. This experience was terrible and you have lost me as a customer for life. I worked with Adam who I have worked with before and could not be more disappointed. I had a nail in my tire and came in for a simple repair. He said it would take a little less than one hour. An hour and a half later he calls me to tell me that the tire cannot be repaired and that I will have to buy a new tire. I was heading to the airport that day and did not have time to deal with new tires so I asked that they put on the spare and give me details on the cost for a new tire. Adam knew that I was short on time and that he took much more of my time that he had promised yet he did nothing to get your team in the tire center to make sure that my spare was put on to get me on the road. I watched as your techs would start working on my car and then stop and chat about another car, go do something else, come back to my car for a minute and then go back and look at another car. There was zero respect for my time. Adam told me to wait by the back door for my car and that pricing for a new time would be on my passenger seat. I waited by the back door and watched as your tech drove past me to the front of the store. No paperwork or quote on a new tire. I called back three times and requested that it be emailed tome and received nothing. I took my car to the Big O by the Flatirons Mall and the tire that supposedly could not be fixed was a simple fix for them and I am driving on the tire today. They also said that my tire was still under warranty and would have replaced it for free so I believe that Adam was dishonest about the ability to repair my tire and about the cost to replace it. Also when I dropped my car off initially I asked for quotes for tires for my wife's car and an information sheet on each which is what I received from your competitors. He wrote down the name of two tires on the back of a business card and told me to go research them on my own. Adam is terrible to work with and should not be working with customers. If he spent as much time helping me with my tire questions as he spent telling about his car club every time I am in maybe he would be a better representative for your store. Thanks to the Flatirons store I am sill interested in working with Big O but I will never work with your store again.

This location is one of the worst. They are dishonest and will "take your money" any way that they can. As someone who has seen how this business works on the inside, take my word for it. This is the last place that you want to work on your car. Every day the terminology was was used, "lets take their money". They will rack your car improperly, over-torque your wheels and damage your lugs/studs, and then charge you for the repair which was their fault! They will overcharge you, sell you parts you do not need, up-sell you every chance they get. This happens multiple times per day, so if you are a customer here, you have probably already been ripped off. Then they try to make you feel good about it. This is the LAST place you want to take your car, even in an emergency! There are two other shops only a few hundred feet away. Make the smart move and don't go here.

I was able to get my tires rotated right away.

I will NEVER return. They won't take appointments for anything regarding tires anymore... Well, it is a TIRE store - so what else would I need an appointment for. I dropped my car at 8am and was supposed to have it back in 3 hours. It was not done until 4:45pm! No apology, just a rude call to tell me to get my car before they closed. Seriously?!?! Then, in addition to rotating my tires, they were supposed to look at my parking brake and call me with an estimate on how much it would be to tighten it. I called 3 times to see what was going on and was continually just told they would call me. Upon picking up my car, the parking brake was never even looked at... after they had my car the ENTIRE day! I mechanic came out and told me he would take care of it immediately the next morning and to come in first thing and it would be taken care of FREE OF CHARGE due to their error. After 2 hours the next morning in the waiting room, they tell me, it will now be $500! WHAT?!?!?!? So, I refused service and then waited another 1.5 hours for them to put my car back together with nothing fixed. So, they wasted my day the day before... and now 3.5 hours of the following day! UNREAL. Then, they gave me attitude and NO apology! Be expected to wait several hours for a simple tire rotation and they could care less if they inconvenience you. While I waited over 3 hours, 2 people stormed out fuming that they had waited so long. The 'help' could have cared less, like they see this every day. Horrible management, horrible people working at the store, just HORRIBLE!!! PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!

I had to bring my new tires in to have one replaced because it had a problem. I was in and out quickly. Thank you.

The last service I had performed on my vehicle was new tires whoever the Saturday after I got them put on I was doing 80mph on I-25 and I heard a klunk klunk and I had to pull over to only find that one of the lugs nuts on my right rear tire was rolling around in my hud cap. Now imagine how I felt because I had my 4 year old son in the car , on Monday I went in to see to someone about it and I had to wait almost two hours to have it checked however I never actually saw them pull it into the bay and I ask for them to have the store manager call me because I was extremely angry about everything . I never received a call so if this is what you think is customers service I will no longer be taking my car to bigo

So called Super Premium Brake pads were installed and new rotors at a cost of a 1000$ New Tires at 1200 $ The brake pads with trouble starting at 12000 miles were excessive wear I thought at 5000 mile rotations . No Mtn driving . And was told its how our customers drive , Really ? By 20000 miles they need replaced , and the new rotors need replaced or turned from some grease substance embedding in the rotors they sprayed on the back of the pads . I'm just going to replace them . But never again at Big O of Louisville . The rotors were original OEM and the pads . 80000 miles same owner so its not driver error . Its cheap shoddy lack of knowledge and ripping off the customer . I called the louisville Big O and asked get I need new pads and rotors for this auto . Crazy price went from a 1000$ to 750$ since 2 winters ago and 20000 miles ago .

I went in for an oil change, I planned on dropping my car off and paying for the oil change before completion. When I let the salesperson know I wanted to pay ahead of time he said well let's go take a look at your car. That has never happened, but we went out to look at it and he suggested a brake line flush as well. I told him since my car had almost 300,000 miles on it I was in the market for a new car, I was planning on buying a new car with in the month. He told me it could be dangerous, as I'm sure it is, but no one has ever suggested that service to me in my seven years of owning that Camry with high miles. So I got the flush and got a new car two weeks later. I know it was only a suggestion, but hearing the words dangerous and brakes made me do it. My boyfriend was upset I fell for it and I am too. It was unnecessary for him to even come out and look at my car for an oil change, I believe he only did it because I wanted to pay ahead of time and I had a coupon. I was alone and maybe an easy target for him to upsell. I find it frustrating that this day and age men are still taking advantage of women not savy with car maintenance. I will not be back to Big O with my new car and will not hesitate to give my opinion to anyone who asks me for a recommendation.

I had a flat tire and you fixed it for free. I have always gone to discount tire but I will now consider big o when the time comes to replace these tires

I was traveling in the Boulder area from out of town when I was having issues with my car, wobbling and very unstable on the highway. Brought it to the nearest Big O's (which is in Louisville) since I've had good experiences with another location back home. They diagnosed the car with numerous issues that needed to be fixed to solve the problem, a worn out tie rod, track bar, several bushings. I explained to them a similar issue I'd had in the past, a broken weld that was fixed in the matter of 30 min with basically only the cost of the labor, they said they would look into it and if it wasn't the issue, they would fix the other parts. After I waited all day and didn't hear from the shop, I called and was told that they had replaced all the other parts but were unable to fix the broken weld and that I'd need to take it to another shop. After complaining that I wasn't going to pay for them to fix things that weren't the issue, they offered to take off the diagnosis fee. So not only was I charged close to $500 for things that didn't need to be fixed, they didn't even fix the problem; causing me to spend more money and miss more work trying to make up for their screwup. As far as I'm concerned, this is a criminal enterprise and would never recommend it to anyone.

Needed my tires filled and they did it quickly and courteously.
