I went to the store on Tuesday the 9th around 9 AM to order snow tires and have them installed. I was told by an associate the tires would be delivered around noon. I called at 4PM and was told the tires were not there. The next day I called around 10AM and again was told the tires would be there around noon. Again, at 4PM I called and was told the tires were not there. The next day, Thursday, I called and was told the tires would arrive at noon. This time they arrived. I don't mind that it takes three days for the tires to arrive, I just would have appreciated to be given a firm and sure delivery date. It is frustrating to adjust my schedule for nothing two days in a row.

I purchased my tires through TireRack.com and got a great deal - when it came time to have them installed I chose the Louisville, CO Big O Tire based on a recommendation. While they had to redo one of the tires due to a mechanical failure of the 1 day after, they helped with the warranty. Very nice and courteous.

I have had my car serviced many many times at this location and they have always done a great job. As a woman I always appreciate being treated equally and not over sold services. This visit I came in for an oil change, I had an appointment for 10:00, I was there and checked in at ten. I was told 45-60min to get me out the door. 90min later I was given an estimate for $430 of work they felt I "should" have done, not related to my oil change. This was the first time I felt pushed into buying something and it was disappointing. Cameron was very considerate when I told him I did not want any of that done today, but would take the recommendations with me. Another 40min later my car was ready. I will chalk this visit up to being an off day for everyone, as I've never had an oil change at this location take this long.

I needed a tire rotation and the air pressure checked since my "low tire pressure" gauge light was on. The person who checked me in was very friendly and I was told the service would take about 45 minutes. So I went to Burger King for breakfast (about 30 minutes) and returned. I made eye contact with both people at the desks, then sat down in the waiting room. After waiting 30 minutes I finally went to the desk and asked when my car would be finished. The friendly clerk check and found that the car had been ready since before I returned to the showroom! He also said that I had been called, but there were no incoming calls listed on my smartphone. Taking car of my car - okay, good service. Letting me sit around in the waiting room for 30 minutes without telling me - NOT so good. Unfortunate waste of my time. Not intentional, I'm sure. But something to be aware of, right?

I really love your Louisville Big O location - although here's what happened Tuesday. I requested tire rotation and rebalancing because after having rack and pinion steering bushings replaced plus an alignment, I was still noticing a bit of shimmy upon braking. It was suggested it might be the rotors. When they removed the tires to examine the brakes it was reported the pins and pistons were "frozen". Estimated cost $1200 to potentially replace everything - with best case scenario $760. I decided to have my regular mechanic do the work. He said the pins and pistons were not frozen at all, the pads were in good shape but the rotors were warped. He did a front brake job, replacing the rotors and pads for $445 including labor. I really feel that Big O was trying to just replace everything and run up my bill. This is the reason I have most work done at my regular mechanic. Big O did my tire rotation and balancing just fine. Our household has bought 3 expensive sets of tires for our SUV's this year.

The guys were courteous, as usual, and they did a good job (I assume) on changing out my turbo in my Ford. I asked them about fixing the messed up tailpipe/muffler (which I had wired up under the frame so that it didn't bounce around and break more) and Justin said they would have to order the full system because it was too bent. We agreed that if he could get it in, and there was time, they would do it. I had no expectations on the tailpipe; it would have been nice if fixed, but the car was in there for turbo. When I picked up the car and drove away and then looked at the back of the vehicle when I stopped, the tailpipe was just hanging and bouncing along. No one had bothered to wire it or brace it or anything. Someone was not paying attention. I took it back and the guys wired it up. If the bouncing tail pipe messed up the turbo install, you will have to replace the turbo. Anyway, someone needs to do final checks to make sure everything is tightened up before leaving the shop. thanks

Fast service, poor recommendation. The tire changeover was done quickly however the technician told me the shocks were leaking and I should get it checked out. I took it to the dealership and they said there was no sign whatsoever of any problems with the shocks

I always appreciate Adam and the rest of the service team in the store who work with me to get my car serviced and contact me in a timely fashion. This past Saturday I had an appointment for oil change at 9 am when the technician came in (tires were rotated before or quickly after the oil change so my car was ready before 11 am). Please also see my separate email reply with a picture attached of my former white sock which I used to wipe off my leather steering wheel cover after oily hand prints were left. I was sorry to find this after the other good service.

Dear Mr. Story, I hope you and/or others do read these reviews. Overall this most recent visit I felt the feeling of your store representative was dismissive to the issue I brought up from my last visit (I had sent a comment and tried to email you folks a picture of a former white sock that I used to clean off the oil left on my leather covered steering wheel - very disappointing). Is it the norm to not receive a paper slip with mileage and date and the tire rotation service? I understand that I was not able to return while the store was open and asked my car to be moved to the lot and locked, but I was surprised there was nothing left so I questioned if the service happened. Through my years of coming to the Louisville store there have been times where full service was not given (coolant was not filled all the way after system service - tire pressure was not checked at visit), but Cameron, Adam, and others at the front desks took good care of things. We have been bringing all our cars to this store since it opened many years ago. It use to have the best customer service and automobile service. However, in the last year, both customer service and the service on our cars has slipped. We recently took one of our cars in to have the brakes checked because they were making noise. They called and said it was fine and good to go, so we picked it up. We headed out of town and the brakes started to screech, so we had to cancel our trip. We were then told that the brake pads were past the chatter strips and now the rotars needed to be replaced, too. They treated it like it was no big deal, but it was to us. We will give them one more chance, but the only person we will deal with is Adam. He cares about you as a customer, knows what he is talking about, and always makes sure you are taken care of. Tip - He doesn't work on Tuesdays.
