Big O Tires

I feel like I always receive outstanding service from this location of Big-O. On my last visit, I had an experience that I didn't like so much. On my last visit, I told the workers to check out my heat shield because the dealer told me it was damaged and needed replacement. When they had it on the lift at Big O they showed me that one of the brackets had rusted out. They told me it would cost $XXX to replace it and that they could just tie it down with a coat hanger and that would stop the rattle. I told them to do it. I drove home. The rattling was gone. The next morning, I looked under the car to see my newly secured, rusty heat shield, but it was no where to be seen. I had a friend come over to double check. He confirmed that the folks at Big-O removed it.

They took care of a tire that had picked up a screw and was thus losing air! They did it FOR FREE!!! OMG!!! Guess you know where I'll be buying my next set of tires!

The oil change was competed within the initially stated timeframe, but they did not have the specific air filter for the car after recommending it be changed.

Great work and help with figuring out what needed to get done.

I had a window motor repaired, it would have been nice if the tech would have cleaned all the hand prints off of the window when I got it back. But over all I'm happy with the job and the price.

I recently moved to Louisville from Denver. I loved the great service I had always gotten from the Big O on Colfax. I was hesitant about changing. I have used the group here twice now and they are terrific. Great, fast service and the work was done right. No issues whatsoever transferring my warranties, etc. Thank you! Thank you!

First time at this location and it had a very tiny waiting area that was just chairs in a corner surrounded by tires. Also my low tire pressure light did not go out when I left so I went back and was told to just drive it above 15 mph for a short distance. Did so and it still didn't go off so went back. Was told to pull my car to the first bay but not pull in so had to wait in the damp cool weather for the guy to come and reset the computer.

BEST TIRE AND LUBE SERVICE IN THE LAFAYETTE LOUISVILLE AREA

Got an oil change and tire rotation from this location, ended up going to another shop for a different issue a week later and mechanics at the Louisville Big O Tires forgot to plug in sensors after the oil change.

We've purchased many sets of tire from Big O in the past and been very pleased with the product quality and especially the service. However, most recently I found a screw in my rear tire of my 2014 Jeep Cherokee. These were factory installed tires and not purchased at Big O. I dropped the car off at a Big O on the way to work. They carried the tire into the store which was really nice, because those tires are very heavy and dirty. Then they removed the screw and reinstalled the tire on the car. Additionally, they returned the spare to the truck along with all the other junk I store in there. The staff was attentive and courteous even though they were very busy. Best of all, and most unexpectedly, they did not charge for the repair! I was flabbergasted, what a nice gesture. I will definitely be taking my car back when it needs new tires sometime this fall. Thanks for the wonderful service!!

My review is mixed as my experience at Big O was mixed. The staff member who sold me the tires was excellent - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and really helped me select a tire that is right for my car and driving habits; he also helped me easily set up an appointment to come back in and have the tires installed. Dropping my car off I worked with this same staff member - he was again friendly, efficient and skilled. The tire installation appears to have been great - it happened in about an hour and the tires and alignment have been great. If my review had been based on these encounters, I would have rated my visit to Big-O very highly. My experience of picking up my car and paying was a very different experience with a different staff member - I came in and wasn't really greeted. He pulled up my order but seemed distracted and then somehow hit a wrong button and sent my order through as a cash payment. He then proceeded to ask a colleague for a phone number and got on the phone and was on the phone for about 20 minutes - he didn't inform me what happened, what he was doing, or how long this process would take. When after about 15 minutes I asked how long this would take he grunted - not much longer - I pieced together he was trying to work with a corporate office to redo the invoice somehow so I could use my credit card. He finally got off the phone, and ran my credit card. I understand that people have off days, mistakes can happen, but it really makes a difference to be informed and to experience some common courtesy - his customer service skills left a lot to be desired - no eye contact, no acknowledgement that he had made an error, no apology for the delay, no "have a nice day". All told it took about 25 minutes to pay - almost half as long as it took the tires to be installed. This part of my encounter makes me think twice about coming back in the spring when I have to switch out my winter tires and buy new all weather tires and makes me a bit reluctant to recommend Big-O to others. I myself had come in at the recommendation of neighbors because they spoke so highly of the shop and you are conveniently located to my home - but I may go back to my old tire shop that is farther away next time. I am a long-time loyal customer - because of the professional good service, good products and friendliness

I LOVE this store, but fourth time I've gotten an oil change and 4th time I"ve had massive leaking after the oil change. Third time I had to bring the car back twice. So maybe it's just me or my particular car but it's getting frustrating to say the least. But I do like the customer service here and have purchased my tires and new brakes from this store over the past 18 months.

Called first to ask about dropping off car, get snow tires installed same day; Adam (maybe) said yes, done by end of day. Sadly, car wasn't completed til end of FOLLOWING day. This shop usually does a GREAT job!

Outstanding customer service

I put 4 new tires on and had a flat the next morning. The new tire had a bad valve. Your team took care of it right away however.

Adam, the service manager, is really knowledgeable and professional. He is the reason that I go do Big O.
