Big O Tires

I have an old car but keep it maintained religiously. Bought 2 tires and took it back in to see why one of them was making such a weird noise and get an oil change. ..$140 Got it back noise still there and now the engine light is on. Was told "it's an old car and the code read vaccum leak. Hose repaired. Engine light off then back on next day. Some kind of old gasket $340. Good to go. Light back on., new code EGR insufficient flow, quoted $300 some dollars. Don't have the money so now driving with engine light on and can't sell car even if I wanted to without getting that fixed. Rick was responsive and accomodating. I am scratching my head over this and wondering if this a legit place at this point.

by law you must approve the price on any work done with the customer BEFORE you do the actual work. if you are going to charge a customer for a vehicle inspection, you need to actually complete the entire inspection. it is very unprofessional to take a smoke break right in front of the customer when the customer has made an appointment to get some work done. what is the point of making an appointment to get work done on your vehicle when the person doing the work stops and decides to take a smoke break right in the middle of the work being done. take your smoke breaks out of sight from the customers and on your own time.

i came in for an appointment on the first. i asked for an oil change , alignment , tire rotarion , and to check the tire pressure sensor warning on the dash. It was promised when i made the appointment that it would be ready two hours afterward. When i got there i was questioned about that but the service writer promised to do so . Well i difnt receive it for almost three hours later. This i can more then understand having spent twenty years in the automotive buisness. The tech comes out to tell me the vehicle was ready. I asked if he did the alignment and he would check. The service writer call me to the desk and tells me its all done. I asked for a print out of the alignment. He leaves to go get it , comes back and says it was not done .Why ? the front end needed work. This i know and understand to well being a tech. The question is, why did the writer come out , tell me it was done originally . At that point i assume he was going to charge me for all work requested and performed. ?? Why wouldnt the writer normally have put on the receipt what the vehicle required and told me that the alignment was not performed. Why did he not upsell the front end work needed ????? Was i getting fucked over and they got caught. yes.. I walked out to the garage and the techs were gone. As im about to leave I realize my tires were not even rotated. What the fuck ???. The writer did only charge me for the oil change but seemed content to let everthing else slide. The writer did get my tires rotated by sweeper boy . so i came home and pulled out my torque wrench. Thnk im kidding or full of shit? On the way home and of course yes! the dash warning for a tire pressure senseor was still on. Normally i would not review. Shit fucking happens. How and what happened on the 2nd of November i. still not sure. Was i just getting fucked over? did the fcng shop just not have time and blew me out the door ?I dont know or care. Should the owner and i mean owner of The Healdsburg Big O call me soon and compensate me for not being able to take my trip to Taboe because my vehicle wasnt ready. I would seriosly recommend it. Wht in living fuck kind of service was that .????? .

This Big O Tire in Healdsburg was excellent years ago. But their service technicians and customer service has declined rapidly. One business trip I bought 2 new tires and needed a front end alignment. Ended up they put 1 new tire on the front and 1 new tire on the back and charged me for the alignment. Today I was told to come in at 7am.....little did I know they open at 8am....I waited there until 745 am and the store opened. Knowing I'm sitting out in their parking lot in front of their front door and no one would come out. I go in at 8 and Miguel I think his name is asked me what I wanted. I told him I was there for and appointment at 7am but that did not happen. Finds out my appointment was at 10. No other customers were there and Miguel never even volunteerd to go ahead and do my vehicle. I would not recommend this store to anyone. I like big o tire but not this store in Healdsburg.

Excellent service as always!

Had a 10:00 am appt on 4/22/16 and expected to be done by noon. Noone called to give report on what was needed, so I called them at 3:00 pm and was told they were looking at the car and would get back to me in 15 minutes. No call, I checked my cell for messages and none there! So called again at 5:30 only to discover it was closed, with me knowing nothing and upset that I couldn't get ahold of any one until next morning. Called at 8:00 am on 4/23 and they claimed they had tried to get me on phone, but there were never any messages on my cell OR on my land line. After they told me what was wrong and that it was not dangerous to drive, I decided not to go ahead with the repair and asked them to please come and get me so I could have my car back. (This is the first time I have been unhappy with the service.)

quick and efficient no overselling polite

I have ben a customer for over 20 years and for the first time I was disappointed and offended by the staff!! The employee forgot to mention a corresponding fee and then demanded that I give him my credit card info. over the phone, when I told him that I would not do that as I would never expect the manager (whom I am familiar with) to demand such a thing he demanded that I come over right away to pay, I tried to explain that by the time I loaded a car seat and baby into the car it would be at least thirty minutes he said " lady, I am locking the door right now to leave you need to get here now to pay!!!" all this after he neglected to tell me that there would be a fee to replace a defective tire under warranty!!Because I am expected to know these things!!! He really needs to work on communication and customer skills.
