I was referred over to Big O by a service associate at Suburu because Suburu didn't have the tires that I needed. Big O explained why I needed 4 tires even though only one was flat (I have an AWD vehicle). The tires were ordered and installed on my car the next morning. John was outstanding - courteous, helpful, professional.

The "tire light" on my VW lit up on Monday of this week. I headed to Big O Tires, as you regularly service my nitrogen-fill tires. The first service person meant well, but did not correctly diagnose the problem. I mentioned hearing a repetitive sound when driving briefly the day before. (Thump-thump) I even asked him to tell me if any tire showed lower pressure; he said they all appeared equal at 36 psi. So why did the tire light come on? He also wanted to fill my tires to 40 lbs. psi even though it is NOT cold outside. I said I only wanted 37 psi maximum; he complied with my request. On Tuesday, I didn't drive anywhere until late afternoon. Immediately when I turned on my VW, the "tire light" was on. I knew then that the problem had not been addressed the previous day. Fortunately, you have late hours. I arrived in time to have a more experienced service person take care of the issue. He found a bolt deeply embedded in one front tire. That tire was only reading 17 lbs. psi. I am thankful I was able to drive the short distance to your service center on such a low tire! Kelly was efficient and thorough. Excellent! He explained the repair, so I understand there are no driving restrictions in driving on the patched tire. He also said he would be meeting with the first service person, whom he said is new, to let him know what really happened. Hence, the rating of 4 out of 5. Overall, your service is outstanding, 5 out of 5! However, your newer employee wasn't yet fully "tuned in" to your comprehensive methods. The fact that the repair was done without charge was an added bonus. (I do purchase my tires from you.) Heartfelt thanks for getting the job done in the end!!!

Top notch service getting them put on in a short period of time and everything asked for and agreed to was completed and honored! I was more than overdue for an oil change and it could not wait any longer. I work around the corner from the Redding location and called to see if they could fit me in on a very busy Friday. John assured me if I was able to leave my vehicle with them that they would get it done. Sure enough it was done well before the end of the day. They were efficient and accommodating. They made it so easy for me, I will be a Big O customer for life!

Big O tires in Redding is a very well run store. They are fast and do an excellent job. Jay appears to be an excellent owner.
