Jay the owner was great in dealing with a warranty issue on a new strut installed on our 2005 Ford Focus. The L F strut top nut was not maintaining its torque value and was making a horrible metal to metal noise. Ken the senior mechanis test drove the car and within two minutes accurately diagnosed the problem. Ken and Jay collaboratively ordered a new strut to replace the defective unit. The new strut was installed the next day and they did a front wheel alignment ALL AT NO CHARGE TO ME. I have been a customer of Jay’s for over 20 years and appreciate their great service!

The reason my husband and I go to Big O Tire in Redding, CA is not only the great service and products that are available, but John and Jay are always so helpful and knowledgeable. I am also comforted with the fact that when my husband is away from home and I have an issue with the car, they are there for me.

My water pump broke. I drove in and they took my car straight into the bay. Within an hour they told me what my problem is and what it was going to cost. I approved it and picked my car up the next day. Fantastic service.

I have been going to Big O since 1994. The #1 reason is Jay the owner. He is one of the kindest, courteous, honest, knowledgeable, hard working, fair, personable, ect............! Even if the quality of the tires and the prices were a little inferior to other tire stores tires and prices, I would buy my tires from Big O in Redding Ca. Customer service and RELATIONSHIPS, along with an excelent product and fair prices are what sets successful businesses apart, in that order. Any business that had an owner like Jay, would be successful. Jay, the day I was there was a very busy day and I believe they were short handed because I heard an employee say that and I was there for a little more than 3 hours maybe 4 hours . I bought 4 new tires and had an allignment. The person that initially helped me was Okay. He was not what I was used to when I've visited your store in the past. He wasn't rude or disrespectful, however he was very matter of fact, not friendly, he didn't explain much about the product I was buying just the basics I should know, but I was not given choices or explained why the tires I bought would be a good thing for me. He didn't tell me that it would take longer than usual and just wasn't as personable and welcoming as I am used to and why I've bought my tires from you ever since I moved to Redding and met you over 25 years ago. After I gave my keys to him, I did not here from him again. I went back and asked several times about my car and I was treated the same way by two others. Needless to say, I was dissapointed. However, the last person to help me and answer my question as to how much longer treated me the way I've always been treated in the past. I know they were exceptionally busy and short handed and everyone was working at a very fast pace and working very hard, but this young man still made me feel welcome and important. He personally went and checked on my car. He gave me a detailed description of a what was happening and how much longer it would be. He appologized for the delay several times and smiled. He was the only smile I saw that day in Big O. Jay, I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble, but I know you would want to know these things because my expierence that day was an anomaly. I understand that it was busier than usual and they were short handed, but I've been there before when the conditions were similar and you were and were not there and the customer service was friendly, personable, professional, and I felt like it mattered to your employees that I and every other cutomer in there was impotant made to feel comfortable and special. Sorry for the long rant. Just thought you would like to know.

Noticed a bolt in front tire of my Titan at 13:45, drove to Big O together er fixed. Got to Big O at 14:00 was told one hour. Tire repaired and I was on my way at 15:00 no charge. I was fully expecting to be charged as the tires on my truck came with it new. Big O Redding continue to take care of my tire needs at 5 star ratings. Look forward to continued service, really appreciate the professionalism. Thanks Big O. Joe .

Everything went well and everyone was very courteous. When I initially called for the tires, Conor was helpful and got the tires ordered quickly, set the appointment up right away even though the tires had to be ordered. Upon arrival staff got me checked in and kept me informed. I only had 300 miles on the tires that were coming off and they helped me load them in my Jeep as I had them sold already.
