Big O Tires

I took my girlfriends dodge magnum in due to leaking coolant. They said it was a cracked radiator and the thermostat was bad as well. I had them do the repairs and they also wanted to change the hoses due to age and possible cracking. I agreed and let them change those as well. Then 3 months later coolant started spraying on the front windshield. They said it was the coolants reservoir cracked and needed replaced. Had them do it and next day it started over heating they said they must not have got the air out. They could not see anything else wrong with the vehicle. Still having issues with the car.

Took my new used van in for general oil change. They pointed out front end alignment which I had noticed and forgot to tell them about. Only one thing I didn't care for was oil drips on engine cover and radiator shroud. OH WELL.

I called with the tire I wanted. They had a decent price online. They said they could get the tire from a Goodyear warehouse and did. I was waited on promptly and they anticipated me. The tires were $420. The extra add-ins had me up to $620 which did not include an alignment or Nitrogen in the tires. Unfortunately, that is not unusual. Service was good, prompt and I got what I wanted. In that realm, they did a good job. Uh, replace the coffee maker in the lobby and put something else on the TV except reruns of movie trailers.

I have been going there ever since you opened and will continue to go there. I set an appointment for an oil change and to have the tires rotated on my truck. I dropped off my truck at the scheduled time. I usually get a call back when it's done but I never received a call. I tried calling 15 minutes before you closed but there was no answer. I went over there only to find out they never worked on my truck. They apologized and finally got to my truck about 15 minutes after closing. They did the oil change, but did not rotate the tires. I didn't get charged for the service, which I appreciate. Like I said before, I will continue to use you guys in the future. Just had this one hiccup. Over the years, my experience has been pretty good at your shop.

Experience was good except I specified when I scheduled the service, and when I arrived for the appointment, that I wanted synthetic blend oil change because that is what has been in this engine but regular oil was used (I was charged for regular oil). It is not a problem to have regular oil in this engine but it was a surprise to me when I saw regular oil on the bill. I have been having Valvoline brand oil in my vehicles, and Valvoline is shown on Big O's website so I was surprised upon asking when I scheduled the appointment that Castrol brand was to be used. I do not happen to know anyone who has used Castrol but I understand that it is probably OK - at least it is not Pennzoil which many of us do not want in our vehicles. All Big O employees that I came in contact with were courteous and professional so overall it was a good experience.

Things have gotten better at this store and it is good to see and experience. Staff was friendly, my vehicles were completed in a timely manner and I was promptly called when they were finished. Big thank you to the Team at Big O on Crimson Rd.

Came in with no appointment with a possible flat tire. Waited 1.5 hours for the service but I got it done and was on my way.
