I just moved to San Tan Valley and thought that I would get my oil changed, when I pulled in there was only 1 customer in the lounge and about 4 employee's out in front of the bays bullshiting. I went in and ask the gentelman behind the computer which there were 3 of them in there, I said I see your not busy I would like to get the oil changed in my truck so 2 of the gentlemen went out and got all the information off the truck and then they ask if I was going to leave it? I asked why it is just an oil change I already have brand new tires and don't need them rotated. he then informed me that it would take 2-2.5 hours to complete I asked him why it is just an oil change he stated that is what they tell people just in case there is an issue! I soon found out what the issues are the young man doing the oil change could not even figure out how to pull the filter off, spent too much time BSing with coworkers did not check other fluids when he finished putting the oil back in another employee was just walking up and the guy that was working on my truck pulls out the dip stick shows him the other employee initials off on paperwork yet the truck has never been started and then rechecked they pulled it out of the bay and sped as fast as he could to the end of the parking lot came back to in front of the store and parked it. I spoke with the gentleman at the counter and stated they didn't put a sticker in they didn't check other fluids the did't start it and then shut it off to check the oil. I was told it will get taken care of! after another half hour went by I went back to the counter and I was really mad by now because I had been there so long! he told me it is all done I asked what do you mean the truck has not moved and there is still no sticker in it! he told me that it was all checked the parking lot! I am just going to tell you would been a valuable customer because I own multiple vehicles but the service that I received there and all the aggervation is worth it I already told my wife to never stop ther for anything and that is sad because you are only about 5 minutes from my house!

Matt and Joe are fantastic at Big O, along with all of the other staff. Very helpful and they work quickly. I highly recommended this location here on Gantzel and Octotillo!

I called Friday night to make an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for Saturday. The person on the phone scheduled me for a 12:00 appointment. That worked out great for me. The person on the phone was very helpful, friendly, and even made a few jokes. Great experience. I showed up 10 minutes early and the person who wrote up my ticket was very friendly and made a few jokes and we talked about being early for an appointment. I appreciated the fact that that I was told that I needed to flush my coolant and that that my power steering fluid was low. Your service technician showed me my air filter needed to be replaced and I new that, but went ahead and paid $20.00 for the filter knowing I could get it at a part store for less than $15.00 In addition that my battery only had a 30% life left. What I didn't appreciate was that I didn't have a problem with my power steering until after I left your shop. It started to whine like there was a problem. I have since changed my power steering fluid and no longer have the "noise" after I left your shop. I will flush my coolant fluid and refill it with because the truck has over 100k miles. One of the problems I have is that the battery is less than 3 months old. I was told to check my alternator, and I thought after I was told that my battery was bad that you would also check the alternator. I took my truck to a Ford dealer for a check on the battery and the alternator and both checked out perfectly! I feel like I was lied to and was tried to be upselled on something that I didn't need. The final straw was when my truck was finally finished and parked back in the parking lot I waited 10 minutes before I was able to pay. In fact I had to tell someone up front that my truck was done and that I wanted to pay and get on my way. I had already waited 10 minutes and didn't want to wait any longer. My "envelope" sat behind the counter while employees came and went and didn't do anything to check the completed vehicles. I was in the waiting room the entire time my truck was being worked on. A technician was able to find me when additional money needed to be spent, but when my truck was done it seemed like the staff would get to me when it was convenient for them. A few other things I noticed...Technicians going to the front counter to get suckers, one technician taking the last bottle of water in the waiting area and standing around as someone else was on the phone. You would think that the technician would restock or at least tell someone that he took the last bottle of water but the cooler was empty the rest of the time that I was there. Lunch showed up while my truck was being worked on and I'm pretty sure that was why it took so long to finish a simple oil change and tire rotation. When I got home I looked at the paper that was given to me and at the top it said the tire pressure should be at 60psi in the front and 80 psi in the back. I know that is WAY to high for my vehicle so I had to go outside and check. From my tire gauge it looked like the tire pressure wasn't checked. One tire was at 22psi and the rest were at 25 psi. I only live 1 mile from your store so I filled up my tires when I got home. I guess that is a good thing that I saw that they would have been overinflated. Please don't contact me. I won't be back to your shop.

I wonder if the store owner knows what his manager did?? He just cost him about $900. Have been taking my car here for several years for service. Needed an oil change, tires, and a front end alignment for my 2013 Santa Fe. I bought the cabin filter and oil filter myself. I called prior to ask them if they could install them for me, I was told YES. Dropped my car off reminded the on duty manager today to install my filters. He told me "Sorry, but we can't install them for you." I asked why?? This guy couldn't even give me a reason. I asked him why one of his employee's just told me you could, no problem?? His reply... "I don't know, but we cant" Now, I know the real reason why... because they couldn't clip me for an extra charge. Little did he know, I was ready to pay for a new set of tires, oil change, and front end alignment for my Santa Fe TODAY. He lost me as a good customer and I will make sure to tell everone I know.... DONT USE BIG O TIRES FOR YOUR AUTO NEEDS! What the manager should of done was this. Honor what his incompetent employee told me this time, and let me know in the future they couldn't do this. To many other auto places out there to give my business too.

Made 2 appointments for oil changes 5 days in advanced. Get there and all the employees want to do is talk to each other. The only reason the first oil change was done in a reasonable time was because we made them honor our appointment date. And the second oil change was not done until 3 hours after the appointment time. Terrible at time management and not friendly at all. An oil change does not take 4 hours. We will not be back and will never tell any one to go there again.

My AC was blowing cool air so I took it in for an AC check. They ran a diagnostic on it and said it was that the compressor was weak and needed to be replaced $1500.00. I couldn't afford that so Jared told me that it was still blowing cool air but eventually the compressor would go out. When I got to my car it was blowing completely HOT AIR. I called the store and he said to bring it back and today when I called about bringing it back Jared told me they had drained the Freon and didn't replace it? Well then why did he tell me it was still going to blow cool air, if there was no Freon I'm there to get it cold??? But he said I could bring it in and it would be $150.00 to replace what they took out in the first place!! Really? I asked why I wasn't given that option before and he said because they thought I would go ahead and do the compressor replacement! Now I can't go anywhere in this heat!

This place is an absolute nightmare. I went in to get my brakes checked and to get an oil change. However when it came time to pay for my oil change, all the Big O' Tires registers went down. Which is find, I understand that these things happen and I was more than happy to wait for them to come back up. About 10 minutes go by and the associate gathered be and everybody else who needed to pay and sent us to the garage to pay, which was fine. However what i didn't expect was for the associate (that I handed my credit card to) to start reading out the numbers on my card while he's on the phone. There's a whole line of people behind me and he just starts reading out all the information on my card for the person on the phone and for every customer in line to hear. I can understand that the person on the phone was getting my information to charge me, but its ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that everyone in line had to hear all the information on my credit card as well. Absolutely no respect for privacy and I couldn't even believe how unprofessional it was. They didn't even warn me that they were going to be giving my information to someone over the phone, he took the credit card from me and just started reading it off. Absolutely disgusting decision making skills on their part.

Ok now after asking if they are going to put my tire back on they come back after 10 minutes and say the tire is separating and needs to be replaced. Why wasn't this caught last week or how about 1 hour ago. Very unhappy

I had my oil changed by another BigO location but the Technician forgot to check my battery, as requested. The store was very busy so I didn't have them take my truck back to do it. Instead, I went about my day. My errands took me to this location on Gantzel Road and I took a chance by going in. I met Nathan (?) who was also busy. But when I explained what had happened with the other location, Nathan grabbed the tester, took my keys and went out to my truck. Nathan's actions show that Customer Service means something to him, even when he's busy, even when it wasn't HIS store's mistake. Well done, Nathan. Thank You for treating me and my small problem with care.
