I took my sons 2010 Nissan in to have a pet steering leak checked. They gave me a quote of 1000.00 said the high pressure line was leaking and the part was 599.00. I check the Nissan price for the part and it was only 317.00. When I confronted them they said they mark parts up 2.5%. I argued that 600$ was not 2.5%. They adjusted the price only after speaking to the manager. So check there pricing so you don't get taken for a ride. Everything was fine except for attempting to grossly over charge me.

The staff was friendly and the ease of making an appointment. Staff went out of their way to get me what I needed that same day. The only issue I had was no one called me when my car was ready but great overall

I was given your name as the owner of the Big O Franchise at 2020 South Rural Road. On May 15th I had brought my Pontiac Torrent in for an oil change. On May 18th after driving the car part way to Tucson, the engine overheated and had to be towed to the nearest repair Facility of ORO Valley Automotive. They found and attested to having over 1.5 quarts of additional oil that had been input into my car by Big O and that this had caused both the issue with the overheating and the resulting issue with the Thermostat and now additional issues. I brought my car back into Big O on Monday May 21st to determine what the continuing issue was and for a resolution to having paid for the damage. Your staff was unable to find additional issues after having the car almost an entire day and stating that they ran the engine for over an hour. Will Hawkes stated that the "manager would contact me on the repairs that had been made". No contact was made over the last month. Having returned from vacation this last Monday, I attempted to use the car and in less than an hour of driving, it started overheating again. Again I talked to Will who said "the Manager would contact me". Speaking with Jeremy Vega this morning, he states that there is no Manager at this location and to contact you. Can you please let me know how Big O can help resolve this issue to our mutual satisfaction? Thanks, Tom Donnelly (480) 773-4888 tdonn1204@cox.net

William helped me buy the beat tires within my price range for both of my cars. He was very knowledgeable and had great customer service.

Store associates threatened to fight me after hours . I was upset about the price because they were marking them up a extra $50 for the install of the tire I asked them if they would price match discount tire for the two tires that I was purchasing. Shortly after my rebuttal the manager denied me service in the store and would not work with me. After being denied service by the manager I became frustrated and called him a cock head . Directly after that one of the store associates threatened to fight me after hours . Regardless of your position or what you do for a living that is very very inappropriate for any circumstance. Customers always come first regardless of the circumstances and you should never threaten a customer. There was no respect given by the store and the associates in the store I highly suggest reviewing the management in the process as they currently follow Manager name: Petter Associate threat name: unknown No name tags were being worn Instead of trying to resolve the issue like a manager should've he quickly denied service and cause a scene in the store. FYI clearly states online that big O tires will price match Very disappointed

The technician that did the alignment on my car answered all my questions and I ended up leaving with a car that even looked better than before

Staff was friendly and funny. A light environment. Got the job done and they were clear about the price and process.

If I had the option for a negative 5 stars I would rate that. I highly recommend you DO NOT consider this location for any services if you want to avoid a seized engine on your vehicle! I took my vehicle here for "oil services", and a few weeks after it suddenly stalled leaving me stranded on the freeway, after needing to tow it and having it diagnosed, I come to find out my engine failed due to (by the way, very unprofessional, dishonest, and inappropriate behavior "technicians") at this location, by installing incorrect filters and oil quantity into my vehicle, which caused damage to my engine to the point of blowing it. I've attempted to reach out to the owner (Adam) for almost a month now with no response of action, even after providing him with evidence in pictures and invoices to show proof of engine damage. Not to mention my car still trembled after the additional car alignment service they "recommended", and also erased my personal car settings which I had to reprogram on my navigation, Bluetooth, etc... back to where I had it prior to the techs getting into my vehicle. But at this point when you're being told you need a new engine is the least of my concerns. I've also contacted his corporate office at the email he will provide to you for further information, and they will NOT be of any help either, and will just transfer you around to explain yourself to different representatives with no helpful information or willingness to take action, so save yourself the time and energy from him directing you to them by not reaching out to them either. I've now been left with no choice than to bring this complaint to the attention of the Better Business Bureau and Attorney Generals Office due to their uncooperativeness in this serious matter. So, unless you want to take the risk of going through the major inconvenience of not having transportation for almost a month and being faced with thousands of dollars in repairs due to this locations unknowledgeable employees and the owners failure to take accountability, I highly suggest you go with your vehicle needs elsewhere!

The gentleman that helped me at the front desk was very courteous, fast and respectful. I never write reviews, or have a particular tire place I go to, but I do now. Unfortunately I don't remember his name (it's worth finding out and giving this guy a raise if you're reading this review). Came in around 10am Saturday morning 12/10/22 - figure it out!

I had intoxalock installed 7 days ago and not been able to start my car, because of COPD installer started the car had he had me try would of seen I don't have enough air, was stranded across the street from the shop and they wouldn't cross the street to help me In over 100 weather 70-year-old woman sitting in a hot car they couldn't do anything about it. I just got off the phone with them, just told me that if I couldn't start it then you wouldn't have a way home that's not the way you talk to customers I'll never go back!!!

On multiple occasions I've been to this location to deal with there interlock services and each and every time I have had an appointment. Not ONCE have they followed through with looking at my car at the time I had an appointment set for, typically a service that should take no more then 30 minuets is taking multiple hours each time and it's horrible. I would not recommend this shop or business to anyone I know! STAY AWAY!!!

James, the Big O employees behind the counter was welcoming, knowledgeable and very informative. He also delivered the good news that my oil change was less than $100 and included a free tire rotation. Later James explained that one of my tires had a sidewall bubble and an exact replacement was in stock. I feel Big O detected a tire problem that could have put me in danger if it Wes not detected

This past weekend my fiance and I looked into different auto shops in the valley. We wanted to make sure we chose a reliable, trustworthy and cost efficient auto shop. We decided to go with Big O' Tires off of Rural and Broadway in Tempe, Arizona. On Saturday, June 8th we dropped off our car at the shop around 9:00 a.m. We needed two new front tires along with an alignment for our front wheel drive. We needed to replace the tires due to them being worn out and we needed the alignment due to the car pulling to the left and shaking if going over 45 mph. After returning home, we soon got a call from the shop stating that the car would need a new camber bolt, otherwise the alignment would be useless. We agreed and proceeded to wait seven hours until we finally got our car back. Besides the initial call, we were never given a call back with any sort of update, but instead were the ones to constantly be reaching out asking for an updated time frame. Upon picking up our car, the man named Will, whom we had been dealing with the whole time, told us that, "Our car looks great and that we were good to go." We paid the expected $400.00 and left the shop. Within minutes of driving home, we noticed that the steering wheel was not aligned and that our car pulled not to the left, but now to the right. We immediately called back, and Will answered the phone. We explained the situation and he was very short with us, saying that we could come back on Monday for them to take a look at it. On Monday, June 10th, my fiance dropped off our car as soon as they opened at 8:00 a.m. He proceeded to wait another four hours and again was the one to call over with time updates after being told that they would reach out to him. After four hours of waiting, (now 11 hours within two days), they let him know that they wouldn't be able to fix our car. They gave my fiance our first car report we had received, stating that the alignment didn't work, most likely due to an accident that occurred previously in the rear. Given that my fiance was already late for class, he took the keys and left. Upon hearing this, I called Big O' Tires once I got off work for further information. I had several questions... 1. "If there was an issue with the rear that interfered with the alignment, why weren't we told this information on Saturday? And why were we charged for a service that didn't work?" 2. "Our car has never been in an accident period, so how do they explain the damage found in the rear? And again, why weren't we notified of this so-called damage on Saturday?" 3. With my fiance and I both working and going to school full time, paying $400.00 on our car isn't ideal, but if worked on properly, we were willing to make it work. We expected to have our car returned to us better than when we gave it to them. My question then is, "What can you do for us given that there are new problems that weren't there before?" I called Big O' Tires and spoke again with Will. Let me just say that being a customer service representative at Arizona State University myself, I have never received such poor service than when I spoke with Will. I asked him the above questions, and he told me that there was nothing they could do. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and he told me that such supervisor was in Utah and wouldn't be returning for several weeks. I then asked for the supervisor's name and phone number and/or email. Will proceeded to laugh and said he would never give me that information because I would most likely sell it online. I expressed my upset and desire to have the issue resolved, but there was no room for communication. Come 6:00 p.m., we were still talking on the phone and he hung up on me without any concern to discuss or talk about possible options to resolve the issue. I've noticed that Adam Gruender, the Owner of this location, often replies to reviews. So Adam, please reply to this one. I am devastated to have spent so much money to exchange one problem for another.

The friendly, efficient service I received was just what I expected. I had 4 Big O tires put on my car in August this year then drove to Indiana and back. The new tires helped improve the gas mileage by 3 mpg and the ride was great. Thanks Big O tires for helping make my family's vacation better and less expensive.

I came to this location nectar it's nearest to my home. I have always gone to Firestone. However, I stopped in to have my looked at after violently shaking. I was informed it needed brakes and rotors. After the work was complete I bright my vehicle back because the problem never stopped. That's when I knew this was the long con. After 3 different visits, a tire balance later, I'm quoted with the actual problem and the costs are double the brakes which I don't believe I needed or were ever installed in my vehicle. You all are the biggest crooks, robbers, bandits, con-artist, thefts and liars I have ever seen in my 50 years on the planet. I was told rain, in Tempe, caused the rust. It's June. Rain? And as far as the original and real issue, i was basically called liar. They claim, I said things I know I never said. Instead of apologizing, I became the party in the wrong. Instead of offering to work out the cost involved, I was insulted as a human, intellectually and financially. I have never been robbed but this is clearly a violation of human regard.
