Went to store with a bad wheel bearing for quote to replace. They told me they had to diagnose themselves before they could provide a quote, which seems reasonable. Got a call informing me the transmission was bad not the wheel bearing. Took the hub assembly off myself and the wheel bearing was seized up. Took the removed assembly back to the store and asked if they could install a new bearing, which they did. The hub looked like it was beat out by a gorilla with mushrooming around the hole where the axle shaft goes, bearing had a small dent in it, and the backing plate was bent from a pry bar. In my opinion the mechanic service here is very poor based on my experience.

I paid $915.30 for four tires. I have never paid that much for tires. I was later charged $22.87 for mount and dismount on a road hazard warranty replacement. I was again charged $22.87 for mount and dismount on a road hazard warranty replacement. I was told at that time tires look good. About two weeks later I returned because three of my tires were at the wear marks. I was told I needed three new tires and it would cost me over $300.00 under normal tread wear warranty. My tires were only about a year and half old and had about 24,000 miles on them. The tires I purchased had a 45,000 mile warranty on them. I was always under the impression that the tires carried a three year full free repair or replacement warranty and was never told anything different. I went to another tire shop and purchased four new tires, including mount and dismount, 45,000 mile warranty for $320.00. About one third of what I paid at Big O. I highly recommend that no one purchases tires from Big O tires.

Received 2 new tires, no problems. Then the guy in the shop tried to do a sales job on me telling me front tires needed new ball joints & wheel bearings. $67 for a second opinion proved them wrong. Saved $1800. Still waiting on owner to call after my visit almost 2 weeks ago.

When I first went into the store to get an oil change and new tires it was roughly 12-1ish the person who checked me in said that it would be done around 3-330 which was perfect cause I had to go on a 2 hour drive that day and was trying to leave around that time. I went in to the store at 330 to see what the progress on it was and the person who helped me said that my car was just started and would not be done till 530-6ish. This upset me because the last time I went to this store to get an oil change the person who checked me in gave me a time and when I returned to check my car had not even been moved from where I left it. though upsetting I was still willing to wait and let my car be finished here. at 5:30(2 hours after I was planning on leaving) I was approached by a gentleman who said that they finished with it but they had a few more tests and it was going to be a 30 min wait, I let him know that I had to leave so I will come back later for an alignment check. He told me when I was paying that I needed a new battery and would he like to quote me some prices, it did not make sense to me cause it not to terribly old of a battery, but I do know that batteries last a shorter time in the desert so I was okay with it. When I tried to turn my car in it did not start up so I went inside to get a jumpstart. the employee behind the counter screamed across the store telling someone to go give me a jump and that no I did not want a new battery, then in front of the other customers proceeded to argue with why he should come jump my car because all the different things I didn't want to do(finish the tests they wanted to run, buy a battery, get quotes for a battery, etc...) after finally getting a jump two things seemed different 1) my car radio was on which is never on because I use Bluetooth 2) it was on a station that I do not have programed or ever listen to because it is in a language I do not speak. This leads me to believe that the entire time that the employees who were working on my car were doing so they left my car on so they can listen to the radio. I do not have 100% proof of this but the three facts that lead me to believe this are the two radio facts and that the battery was less than a year old. Due to the whole radio thing and the fact that this is the second time I was given a false time frame and just not really treated overall well as a customer I will probably not be returning and will not recommend this company to everyone. I know that this review will probably just be thrown to the side and not followed up on just because I am one person in a nation of people who can go to Big O Tires, I just thought that in case someone reads this complaint and actually cares they should know what is going on in this specific location.

We have a serious problem and I would like a prompt reply from the store owner or manager. I asked for this reply last week and I still have not heard anything from anyone. Yet the car sits idle in your lot. When Jose called this morning he was not provided with any information about the car. The attendant was rude and told jose that Karina will not talk with him. What kind of service center tells their customer this?! This is very disappointing. My email is walterpopen@gmail.com

I was there for an oil change. I checked the oil level before leaving the parking lot. I found that the oil was overfilled by about a quart and a half. I showed the dip stick to the customer service agent who then took the car back to correct the overfill. He gave me 4 air fresheners and an apology. He said, "This almost never happens." Hmm?

Was super impressed with the politness I received from Mike when scheduling an appointment over the phone. Unfortunately, my time at the location was extremely disappointing and I will not return for business at this location, considering they didn't work on my car, future business is not an option. Karina was at the counter when I entered, after looking at my vehicle she automatically set me up with their priciest alignment option instead of going over any information with me. Luckily I know about their usual promotions so made that a point. I would have saved her a few minutes and a couple sheets of paper she had to reprint with the new amount if only she asked me instead of trying to meet their marks for the day. And after realizing my vehicle had not been touched after scheduling an appointment and waiting for an hour and a half, I asked for a time estimate when Karina goes on to say their "usual" alignment tech was not there so things are taking longer, along with there are issues with the cars that were currently being worked on. Which could have been pointed out beforehand if it was going to be delayed by that much. Just common customer service courtesy, especially when your only 5 feet away from the customer.

Just wanted to let you know I've been working with your store for a few years now and up until today have been more than satisfied with work, explanations of charges, etc. Situation: Tires balanced and rotated Requested alignment check after work completed on front end Alignment done. These are Big O tires, so no charges for balance and rotation. $12 charge for shop supplies which both counter guys and manager could not put a reason to. No expensed category, nothing. The managers defense? The best he could come up with was "rags". No offer to make it right, look into it, nothing. The answer was made up on the spot, I understand. I am not a mechanic, but I know how an alignment is done and have watched enough to know there are no "shop supplies" associated with it. At least not 12 bucks. I'll be doing business elsewhere, but I just purchased a 3 year alignment that I would like to have reduced or eliminated or something to make it right. Sucks to change service providers but this is the kind of thing that makes it happen.

The manager was the only person that I dealt with that knew what he was talking about,he was good. But the guy beside him has to be just starting,he didn't know anything! The wait time for a flat was ridiculous, then found out tire was ruined! The young man that helped me was not a trained employee! Ended up ordering new tire only because of manger. He called me in a few days as he said he would, said tire was mounted & ready to install. The guy sitting next to him waited on me again, think he lost some brain cells over the wknd! Told me how much it would be, I had already pd, told me to have a seat it would be awhile! I said no I'm going to stand right here because manger said they would put it right on. As they did when manager heard us. As I was waiting I heard another young man demand his keys he had waited way longer than he had been told. I don't like to give bad reviews, but I'm not used to this kind of service from Big O!
