Big O Tires

The gentleman who checked me out when I was picking up my vehicle was extremely helpful and very polite however that cannot be said for a couple of the other employees there. When I picked up my vehicle they indicated that I needed breaks that same night less than 2 hours after I picked it up my husband went to change the breaks and when he removed the lug nuts 3 of them was smashed from being tightened down too much.

Took truck in for an oil change (as I do every 3000 miles, I also buy tires from you or at least I did). Was called by Angus saying that the oil change and 22 point inspection was complete, but they couldn't get the truck started in the bay and that they then tested the battery, saying that I would need a new one. I asked if testing the battery was part of the 22 point inspection and got a stutter and hostility, claiming that "they ran a lot of tests, and he is just a salesman that can't guarantee my truck will start when I come to pick it up" I found this entire situation unprofessional. If my battery was old (which it was) then why not just tell me that it is old and recommend that I get a new one for the cold weather season coming up? I feel I was borderline swindled, or at least strongarmed over the phone by your "salesman". I had no problems getting the truck started the day of the service, or any time prior. In addition, over the course of performing service the climate control system developed an issue with the fan speed control. There is no longer any control, the system is either off, or runs at full power. I know for a fact the system was not like this prior to this service at Big O Tires. There is obviously no way to prove this, but I believe when they were working on my battery to make it appear dead or in the process of jump-starting my truck they damaged some of the electronics. Also, on my receipt, it claims that I declined an alignment check. I was never offered and never declined an alignment check.

I've been to this store 3 times. All 3 times I had tire work done and all 3 times tire pressure was an issue. When I took my truck in to have tires rotated I told them what tire pressure I wanted and the fact that it was a new truck with a tire pressure sensor in each tire they were 15 pounds lower than factory recommendation which by the way was on the door. Monday I had them change two trailer tires that I brought in, when I picked the tires up and asked what the tire pressure was they told me 50 psi. These tires are a load rated tire meant to hold 80 psi, when I ask him to put more air in the tires were at 26 psi. This is unacceptable, had I I put the tires on and ran my trailer this could have cost me catastrophic damage to my vehicle and business. When I brought this to the attention of the service manager he immediately became defensive. He responded that the guy doing my work was new yet no one rechecked his work. I won't be back

I purchased 4 tires for my Frontier and 4 tires for my wife's Rogue,the tires on.my Frontier were so out of balance,so an attempt was made to rebalance them ,the ride was like sitting in a vibrating chair,,so 2 tires were replaced ,New method of balancing performed was told this method was very expensive,not a normal practice on new tires,,still getting some vibration,returned next day,was told there probably wasn't any more he could do except check for missing balance weights ,had done all he could do.. I drove wife's car last Friday,tires are unbalanced on it also. We ar thinking about going to the Springdale store to see if they can replace my tires with some better riding tires, our vehicles were a smooth ride until we had these tires installed.

Just spent 2 hours and 15 minutes getting a basic oil change for which I had an appointment. I unwisely agreed to a cabin air filter up-sell not knowing that they do not have them on site and have to send a runner to get them. Spent the last hour and 15 minutes watching no one work on my car and finally asked the service manager to put my car back together with the old filters because I had to leave to make another appointment. Really disappointed. They should have communicated that the air filters they offered to sell me would add significant time to my wait. I didn't have the time to waste.

My ratings were for todays visit. This is my 3rd time in a week having to come up here. Hopefully this is my last for a while. Last 2 times was having to get a rim ordered. I got a call today that my rim was in at 11am. Arrived at 1150am it is now 131pm and I am still waiting. All but 1 customer that came in after me has paid and left. Daryl is not any help, I think he keeps moving my paper to the end ? I should not have to wait this long to have 1 tire placed on a rim. When we lived in AZ this was the only store we used. We were pretty excited to find out their was one here in AR. But sadly the service is not the same. Also told they do not offer military discounts?

Rather not allow Big-o tires to waste even MORE of my time by writing a detailed, lengthy, comment. Suffice it to say that my experience was very, VERY bad. This was my first purchase at Big-o tires and likely my last.

Did a great job on oil change and tire rotation and balance. In and out in a reasonable timeframe.

Purchased 2 sets of tires for our 2 cars. Had a leak in a tire. Took it in to fix. Had to wait hour or more...was charged to fix. Later took the same car back for another slow leak...waiting....they couldn't find anything wrong..tires kept leaking...it got worse...had to add air once a week. Took it in ..said could have to wait over 2 hours for them to look at it..I'm 67 yr old and have no one to pick me up...My suggestion is that they have the courtesy to triage for small issues like these so the wait is less. Made a trip to Cave Springs to Nelson' tires and got right in...Support your small business's instead of large chains!

When we first purchased tires from Big O for my wife's vintage car the tech was going to use a mallet and screw driver to removed the hub on the wheel. I stopped him from striking the wheel and told him they were screwed on! He then proceeded to loose a $3-5.00 stainless cap head screw which I have not been able to replace yet. Then when I took the vehicle in to have the bearing assembly replaced, the tech forgot to put the hub key back into the car. My wife was leaving out of town and had she not checked for it, it could have been a very bad situation. So we had to go back down to the shop to get the key. The tech who worked on the car was courteous and seemed knowledgeable, it's just these little things that add up.....

Very friendly. Knowledge was good. Good prices.

Good price on tires was overshadowed by taking over 2 hours to get installed. Then the alignment check showed I needed an adjustable ball joint installed so I wouldn't be seeing tire wear. Went to me normal alignment place checked it was out by very little. Not enough to even wear the tires especially for a solid axel truck. I thought it was funny when I asked for a copy of the print out the computer readout, that they couldn't give me one because the " colors wouldn't show" Plus to many workers just standing around talking. Original sales guy was great to bad he wasn't there when I got them installed.Very disappointed!

I stopped in just to get a quote and within an hour, was driving off with new tires on my vehicle. Staff was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Price was very competitive. Great experience!
