The va zoo is very fun for children. My two year old loved the train and splash pad. There was even a petting zoo where he could let the goats. The chimpanzees were affectionate and adorable, and the red panda exhibit was a delightful quiet surprise. I would recommend the va zoo.

Most of the animals were asleep/nocturnal there were no tigers or otters to be seen. The food is overpriced
