The va zoo is very fun for children. My two year old loved the train and splash pad. There was even a petting zoo where he could let the goats. The chimpanzees were affectionate and adorable, and the red panda exhibit was a delightful quiet surprise. I would recommend the va zoo.

There were not enough animals. It was a storm passing by, so maybe that's why most animals weren't out. This zoo has gone down in the past years.
