I was quoted $66 installation fee and was actually charged $137.40

The Tire America to Pep Boys link seems not to work well. 3 Tires were delivered; yet Tire America send an email that the fourth was delivered when it was not. Pep boys did not have me in their "system" and did not know they had 3 of the tires until I noticed them on the floor and pointed them out to them. Pep Boys themselves have numerous problems in customer service at this location - I went there 3 times, and the instal finally took 2 hours and 10 minutes for just 4 tires.

I signed up for installation at the Rockville/Hungerford location. The price from your website was around $65 plus taxes/fees. They said the wouldn't do it for less than $260. They tried to claim the tires were "so big" even though they were exactly what was ordered. The manager said if you don't like it you can just come and take them. When I did, I saw two female workers throw my tire out of storage onto the workspace floor. Then one of them rolled a tire at me (without saying a word), expecting me to catch it and load into my car by myself. She then rolled a second while I was taking care of the first, it ended up rolling into the parking lot, almost hitting a car, jumping a curb and running into the bank next store. She then went to get it, rolled it around some more, dropping it on its side a few times. She never said sorry, or actually anything. Just shockingly bad customer service. Terrible. Inexcusable.

My tire rim is scratched all over the place and they at the time of my visit just covered up with white stuff and I saw it later when the liquid they poured came out of the rims.

In regards to tire america themselves I’m satisfied. In regards to the installer I’m highly dissatisfied and looking to pursue legal action. First to start off my installation fee was $160 not $75 as stated by your website. Then, the mechanic broke studs for my truck, lug nuts and rims (I have photos of all to show) kept my truck for 5 days and kept adding on charges for items they were breaking including my rims. In total I had to pay $1,140.28 to Midas for everything they broke in order for them to release the vehicle back to me. Every time they called, they were adding more parts on that THEY were breaking and charging me triple the price for. I will never use them again.

The price listed on the tire America site to install four tires at pep boys was $96 plus tax. When I arrived at the location, the person at the service desk gave me a bill for $119.95. I asked him why it was higher than what was quoted on the website and he said he did not know. So I gave him the okay to go ahead and do the work. I was then presented with another bill from a service technician for $159.99. I told him that was ridiculous and that they needed to live up to their pricing they quoted to your America. He said they do not provide tire America pricing, and tire America just puts on their website whatever they feel appropriate. I took the tires and left and went to a different installer. Besides the price problem, both associates were very rude and harsh. I would never go back there again.

H Appointment at 9:00AM. Car set in the in the lot for over 2 hours. When my car was brought into the shop technician was walking around talking in the shop. I got nothing done until I jumped the counter man. From my appointment time to the time they finished was 3hours and 20 minutes. I believe that since I did not buy the tires from them they did not care. They took persons with later appointments and walk ins before my car was worked on. This was a very bad experience for simply mounting 4 tires. I will never use them again.

3 of the 4 tires you guys sold me were defective; dangerous to drive the vehicle. A chunk of rubber on sidewall removed. 1 of the tires was manufactured in 2017! 3 yrs old tire. I would have never bought the tire, if I knew it was 3 yrs old. Your customer service is pathetic, especially the managers, are 20 years behind the time. They have no idea about customer satisfaction.

The tires were shipped to NTB promptly, way ahead of schedule. However, upon arrival for my tire installation, the associate looked at me as if I had come from space. He asked if I would like to have wheel alignments performed, I said yes, and politely asked if they were able to perform it since my car has an all-wheel-drive system, active steering, read axle air suspension, and requires a specialized machine for alignment. He rudely said yes, and said that they do it all the time. ?He also made rude remarks as if I am one of those pretentious BMW jerks. Giving all the pressures from the coronavirus, I was not about to have my day ruined by this gentlemen. Also, he was old and wearing an army veteran hat. So I just let it go. Upon completion, my wheels were all scratched up. It turned out that they used a BMW 5 sedan specs to align my BMW X5 SUV! I asked why did they align my car with the wrong specs and why have they not consent me first, they said that's the closest specs they could find, and they don't have the X5 alignment specs in their machine. I have perfect alignment in the rear axle, and they ended up knocking it out of specs, so much so that the wheels leaned inward!
