la Madeleine

Love la Madeleine's excellent one-of-a-kind menu of all my favorites. Even in the time of cv, dining was a relaxed pleasure with dear friends. We all enjoyed dependable and delectable favorites and refilling coffee as necessary. We will be back soon!

Outdoor dining area smells like cigarettes. Not sure if you can change that but it would be nice.

The food is good. I love the balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The marinated chicken has a great flavor, too. I love the ambiance of the restaurant (when it isn't too crowded or noisy). I especially like sitting by the fireplace. It is so cozy! The staff is usually very friendly and helpful.

I enjoy the friendliness of the employees & the care in preparing the food. The only thing I wish they would bring back is giving sliced bread (wheat & sourdough) with the meal instead of the French type bread that is tough & hard to eat as it gets too dry in the individual sacks.

The food is very taste. Everyone that works here is very professional. The hot chocolate is always my favorite. I love the music and I am glad it is French music.

Great sandwiches

Come on LA Madeleine, what is up with the cheap to go containers and the plastic bags? I used to think of LA Madeleine as a upper scale fast casual place, now with the cheap plastic that barely can maintain or hold up the heat of pastas that are put into a cheap generic "Thank You" plastic bag, it seems as though you have lowered yourselves to meet the standards of your fast food bland sandwich shop competitor's. All while maintaining your higher price points that are not indicative of your actions of giving your customers a cheaper product. I will gladly go somewhere else that still provides quality containers that hold up to the contained product, for the cheaper price.

Associates were friendly and greeted me on arrival. Ordering was convenient.
