when using sterno you must use a pan with water to separate the food from the sterno if not the food burns.....that was my only issue

I would rather this la Madeline would return to the customer ordering from the counter. I do not agree with seating the customer and the customer has to provide a tip now for the experience.

I understand the restaurant was really busy and that the staff was working their hardest to accommodate everyone. They were doing a great job. I did order coffee that I never received, but I chose not to say anything because I didn’t want to cause any distress. The food we ordered was wonderful though!

The café was short staffed. This was our 4th visit. The cashier was our waitress. She was pleasant and tried to accommodate everyone. Each visit is the same. Not enough help to accommodate the customers. Food is delicious; but service is slow. The employees that are there seem to be very disorganized and frustrated with co-workers who don't show up for shift. No one seems to be managing the restaurant or the facility.

The coffee taste is poor compared to the coffee at your location in Cary or when you first opened at Plantation. If you would like great business you need great coffee. Character of your restaurant was lost when you added servers -- if you return to no servers consider pre-placing table ware and napkins at more locations.

We felt rushed to order our food. When food arrived, the french onion soup was skimping on cheese and the soup wasn't hot. The quiche florentine didn't taste fresh and was barely warm. The cranberry salad was gross with slimey, rotten greens. I mentioned my concerns to our waiter. He only said, "Oh well." The chocolate almond croissant tasted like it was several days old. We were also surprised that the restaurant was getting ready to close. at 7:45 pm. The staff was trying to turn customers away! We were not impressed during this visit. Roberto needs to allow customers to have a relaxing, quality dining experience!

1) Get some decaf expresso. Was told the location is no longer sent any because it is too expensive. Offered to make a cappuccino with brewed coffee. Really? 2) Menu pictures scrambled eggs on a croissant with strip of bacon. It apparently is more of an omelet with pieces of bacon mixed in. Told by server that is how it is made. Get the picture or description right. It is not the nice fluffy scrambled eggs you show. 3) To get my rewards scanned, the server walked away with my phone. I then saw her off serving other tables. She just gave my phone to someone else. Unacceptable. The phone was unlocked and my personal information could have easily been accessed I assumed she was taking to the register right by my table in view. I have gone to la Madeleine in Austin for years and consistently loved it. This Raleigh location consistently disappoints.

Several issues: An item has been removed from the menu but I wasn't told until after I ordered it. Eggs and potatoes were barely warm, bacon was stone cold. 'Manager' offered to redo the food but I'm always hesitant to send anything back, as I don't trust the employees to handle the food properly. On a cold winter day the AC was running full blast and the staff was fully aware. We were given a table, by ourselves, in the coldest area even though two employees later told us other parts of the restaurant were warmer. I've been coming there for over a year now, and have recommended the restaurant to many, but over the past few months the food is often cold and, while not the case this visit, the service tends to be slow and the wait staff inattentive. It's near our church so we typically like to go there after the Sunday service. After this visit, though, it seems we may need to find another place to spend our money.

I was sat in a table at the far back and overlooked. I was then given a menu and asked to order. The food took a long time and was cold when delivered. The food itself tasted awful not sure if that was what you were going for. I left the whole meal on the table paid and was never asked if it tasted ok. Worst meal I ever paid for.
