Darien Lake

I visited as part of the Verizon Employee picnic day. The park was fine, although 2 employees that I questioned did not know the location of a specific area of the park that I wanted to get to. The food served was TERRIBLE! The hamburger tasted weird, the vegetables were burned and soggy, and the fruit was tasteless. The ice cream dessert was melted on the stick and had to be put on a plate to consume. The food I've had at Seabreeze is MUCH better. The only thing that made my visit bearable was the $15 price of my ticket.

Too busy

Everything was great except there weren't healthy food choices. A subway (ugh) and that was about it. We had 4 of our kids with us and one had a headache. We were thrilled to find a helpful caring employee at the Emporium who was very helpful, right down to getting the Tylenol packaging open. Everyone seemed helpful and knowledgeable. It was a nice experience. If you could only solve the ride-wait problem, that part sucked.

I had a fun time. the rides were great and the concerts that were there were fantastic as well.
