John and Susie Mims are an amazing asset to our community. They provide fun programs on a monthly basis for FREE that are not only convenient and informative but are on varied programs where I am always surprised how much I did not know about the subject. In the past, we have taken some of our neighborhood kids so they could also learn and have fun doing so as an outing without Mom and Dad!! We enjoy being in conversation after the program as they obviously were totally impressed often by different things than we were. It is cool listening as they share the outing & the new stuff learned to parents. The store is amazing and so pretty, It is a joy going in to get what was on my replace seed/peanut list. I can always find something else that want as well. I enjoy supporting the community stores, but we have had the added bonus of also gaining two friends. My husband and I used to be "members" of the Wild Birds Unlimited in Cypress for multiple years which was an hour drive from our home in Kingwood.
