Retired owner had taken the names of clients who had punch cards. I no longer reside in Victoria, but drop in to purchase seed when I am visiting. All my credits towards a free bag of food were gone!, so I will not return.

Salesman didn’t understand my request so showed me some inappropriate feeders. We eventually worked it out but the tray feeder I purchased seemed a bit expensive for what it was.

Nothing exceptional with the service. No problem, just nothing special. Twice now the fellow was not knowledgable about the suet feed nor the use of the hummingbird nectar “protecter”.

The bark butter is now in a smaller container more expensive and harder to apply to trees and railings as it is not as sticky as it used to be...the skinless peanuts are not halved like they used to be

I have tried addressing this issue before and have gotten nowhere with this store. Months ago, I asked for an order of Insect and Nut Suet. They had it in stock but wouldn't set it aside for me. They said I had to do it online. I insisted I didn't do that and would be happy to pay for it over the phone (which we all know can be done but for some reason, WBU won't do). When I went to the store a few days later, it was all gone. This is why being able to set aside an order is important. The staff were dismissive of the concern (citing this is how this store/company operates). When I tried to suggest this is not how to treat customers, they suggested I email the manager. No ability to call and talk to the manager. This company puts too many barriers up to attract and keep customers effectively. I have been a customer of WBU for decades, and am shocked by how this has turned out.

no millet Also I hate these “surveys ” cause it seems like you’re always looking for an excuse to take it out on staff when things aren’t 100% and if I’m not pretending to be deliriously happy with my experience it’s someone’s FAULT. Also I’m not likely to recommend this store because everyone id recommend it to already shops here

Your prices have increased substantially and we now have to pay for the frequent buyers discount. I have been buying from this store for twelve years and before that in the Calgary store.

This store has recently changed ownership. The previous owners were knowledgeable and I always felt I was purchasing product from people who really cared about the products they sold and the wild bird population. I've been in the store three times to purchase seed and it now seems like a "franchise operation" - staff different each time and the last time the fellow was totally promoting the Daily Savings Club - rattling off information. The personal touch that I felt with the previous owners was gone. Only two bags of medium chips in the store. Will continue to shop there, but it is definitely a different place. Disappointing.
