I think it was last Sunday afternoon - was only person in the store - staff member was helpful, shared her knowledge of birds and their feeding preferences. Shopped here for a number of years - new owners and staff are on the right track!

The staff are always friendly and can always answer my questions and recommend things.

Staff are pleasant, helpful, store is bright, clean with lots to stimulate interest and options for feeding, supporting and enjoying bird life.

Always a pleasant store to visit. Always have what I need. So many pretty and interesting things to look at. My kids bought me the chimes from Salt Spring. Love them.

After shopping at WBU for many years in Ottawa, we were thrilled to find it here I. Victoria, and very happy to see familiar products that we had loved to use, notably Bark Butter Bits. This is a unique bird store, seed prices compare favourably (or better) than stores where we have been buying seed. I also learn something every time I shop in the store. Our neighbors, new to hummingbird feeding, are amazed at all the knowledge and advice they have come away with after their frequent stops at the store. I thought we were fairly experienced, but as the neighbors pass on to us some of the information they have learned from your staff, we a4e becoming better educated.

After not needing a receipt, the clerk came to my car with the receipt that had a discount for next time. She could have scrapped the paper.. but didn't! Appreciated!!
