Going to the store is always a great experience.

I shop at this store very regularly and have for years. The owner and staff are so informative and welcoming, they are responsible for turning my minor interest into a major passion and hobby. They taught me how to be a bird enthusiast and nature supporter. During COVID, this passion was a life saver for me. And ongoing contact with these people at WBU was a constant positive influence during an isolating time. They remained optimistic, caring, & enthusiastic, and birds & nature (they expanded me to butterflies!) did the rest. I can’t thank them ALL enough!

I was recommended to go there for tips on how to stop squirrels from eating my bird seed. I got a good recommendation for hot sauce in the seed and it is working!

My 14yr. old daughter told me that it was the most zen-like, happy experience she has been in and will come back with us anytime. The store clerks were happy to help and share their photos of various birds. Now that my daughter takes music lessons right next door, I'm sure we will visit with her often this summer. I was happy to see that they also sold jewelry and purses and would love to see it expand to clothing as well!
