Quality of birdseed & knowledgeable, friendly staff make this a great shopping experience

This was my first visit to this WBU. My mom passed away a few years ago and the Allentown pa location was her favorite store for birdseed and houses and supplies. I started getting into feeding birds because I “inherited” her feeders and as a tribute to her. I made the mistake initially of using cheap seed from Lowe’s (lotsa millet) and around that same time noticed this store in a shopping center near my house. John was wonderful, very patient and knowledgeable about seed varieties, strategies for evading squirrels, and the membership program. John was lovely, the store was lovely (now I know I can ask for gift certificates for Christmas!), and John even carried my large bags of seed to my car for me. A plus atmosphere and customer service. Also, this seed is waaaaaay better than the stuff I was using before.

The owner Ben, is always helpful and pleasant and very knowledgeable. Tom, who assisted me to my car, was also very helpful and knowledgeable of birds. Great place to go if you want to learn more about backyard birds and get quality products to invite the right in.

I always love going in to the Wild Birds store. The staff are super friendly, always remember my membership name, and are very helpful when anyone has questions.
