Check out is always a little slower than I'd like

We previously purchased a large bag of seed that for some reason molded in both of our feeders and birds would not eat it. I took the bag into the store because I thought WBU might want to track the origination of the seed. The sales person immediately said they had sold a lot of seed from "that lot number" and they have had no issues. How would he know that based on looking at the lot number. And, if customers don't alert you to the problem you would never know. I doubt seriously if that information was passed to anyone outside of their store. Also, there was no offer to give me a small bag or something to compensate for the bag seed or my time.

No problems experienced. It was just a quick run in to pick up bird feed. Staff offered to carry it to the car. I declined because I parked close and did not need help.

Purchased an item, it was on display. Paid full price, didn't get the box it came in. And they went back to check on a detail from the box. It was an odd experience. I could have purchased the identical Item online for half the price. I choose to shop local and feel let down.

The items are pricey.

I am always looking for dachshund items...I have a black and tan. I like the dachshund spinners that you had but there was only brown. I know this shop caters to bird lovers, but I like how you have a little bit of a mix. The purses are cute - have been looking for one with a black and tan dachshund - full size-not change purse. The garden benches that have been popular this year would be a good item - space permitting. I have been looking for a dachshund one - have found other dogs but not the dachshund. Thanks for having such a unique shop.

Product I came into the store for was out if stock.

I've always liked WBU and wish I could afford more. The girl that waited on me was a little "too much". Was approached before I could get in the door and was followed too much. There's nice and then there's "way too nice".

I ordered and purchased on Monday. Staff said that it would probably be delivered on Tuesday to which I said Tuesday or Wednesday would be fine. By Wednesday morning after 10 I had not heard from Wild Birds so I had to call. A call, text, or email from WBU on Tuesday concerning delivery would have been appropriate. I like the place and want it to do well.

Stock was low, but this is not the stores fault since we are in a pandemic state and most things are delayed or on backorder.
