Prices for bird food are getting out of hand. Too expensive!

I was happy, prices are higher than other stores, was using birthday coupon

I was looking for finch food socks when I entered but also needed premium bird food which I bought.

i had received a coupon in the mail for a free item (can't remember what it was exactly. I think it was a "Seed Character") with a purchase. At the time I didn't realize I had needed to buy the Winter Blend to get the free item. What I picked was what we always get the "No Mess Blend". I had given the card to the gentleman, and he rang up my purchase. I asked him about the free gift, and that is when he told me that I needed to buy the Winter Blend. If I had know that before hand, I would have changed and bought the Winter Blend but my purchase was already done, so I didn't say anything. Guess that was my fault, but thought it should have been something he should have told me before he rang up my purchase as I laid the coupon on the counter before he rang it up. So I didn't get the free gift, and then I just got a card in the mail a few days ago with a 15% discount, but it will expire before I need to buy more bird food. I normally get exceptional customer service here, but I was disappointed when I left. So I will miss out getting the free gift or the 15% discount.

I wanted to buy birdseed; I bought birdseed. Exactly as anticipated. Wild Birds did an excellent job. Hard to be outstanding on such a straightforward transaction.

I know the employees are trained to be friendly, but it appears very fake. I know what I what and if I have a question I will ask. I don't need to be questioned multiple times or feel as though I am being watched. I greatly appreciate your support of OWL and always try to buy seed during this time.

Continue to have live worms in the bird food

Had $5 coupon. Handed to clerk. Checked receipt at home and she did not apply

Prices seemed quite high

store has really changed with recent management change. Just not the same. Noticed a marked reduction in stocked items that were really enhanced by former owners who took great pains in getting unique items in the store. My $10 bird buck was not applied to my discount--no big deal as I am sure I will get it back next time I visit. I will still give this another go.
