The reason for the rating has nothing to do with the most recent purchase. I purchased some black oil sunflower seed in the small bag (bag doesn't mention size on the outside) back in the early fall; you were out of the 20 lb bags at the time. As I emptied it into our bird feeder I noticed that it seemed very, very dusty - much more so than any black oil sunflower i have ever purchased from your store. I also see that the birds are going through it a slower than any previous purchase. So I'm wondering if it was an old batch that had really dried out. Anyway, I thought you should know.

We ordered the bird hopper and the advanced pole system... the hopper is made from very hard plastic - there were no instructions about how to attach the flange and if we didn't have an electric drill with a metal drill bit (which we used to drill holes so that we could screw in the screws) we would never have been able to attach it to the flange with a hand screwdriver. Suggest having holds pre drilled on the bottom (and on the side for a nest). It took me and my husband over an hour to attach it and I could not have done it by myself.

Mostly because, through no fault of the staff, I felt pressured to move quickly as there were customers waiting outside the store to go in. A sign of the times!

The site responsiveness seemed very slow and I didn’t like that the payment information was going through a US company which I am not familiar with. Would fee more safe if the site had payment option such as Apple Pay.

Pretty pricey, but does have some unique items, which compensates somewhat for the extra cost.

I would have liked to peruse more but felt rushed. I understand only two people are allowed in store and circumstances are different right now but I felt quickly ushered through the store.
