The price of the Bark Butter increased quite a bit. I was told rather bluntly that the supplier increased the price so the store had to increase it also. I said I completely understood that but I asked that they tell the supplier or the owner or someone that I would no longer be buying the bark butter for $16.99 (before my club discount) so perhaps there is a brand that is less costly they could get? The person helping me didn't seem very interested in my concern and I got the impression she didn't care if I stopped buying it or not. It just wasn't a very positive customer service experience. If she had said something like, "I completely understand your concern and I will let the appropriate people know what you said", I would have walked out satisfied that she heard me. By the way, I have purchased ALOT of bark butter from this store over the years as well as many bags of birdseed each year. I will continue to buy my No Mess Blend and Tree Nutty from WBU.

Never got the 20% off one item coupon or the nesting ball coupon applied to my order. Was this clerk new?

On May 3rd, i bought a bag of peanuts from the store. The price was$59.99, but I paid $48.28. On May 7th, I went back to buy a seed cylinder. I asked the clerk why I had not been given a free nest ball on Thursday and I showed her the reveipt. She said I had not received a coupon for that. I showed her my receipt. She said the May coupons had not been sent out yet. I showed her my email coupon with the date. She said, Well, you should have asked for the free nest ball then. I am not happy with her responses. As much as I buy in your store, she should have given me the stupid nest ball.

I had a coupon for 20% off a single item. I was purchasing an item that was on sale for 15% off for a few select days. I was told that I could not use my 20% off coupon because it was already on sale. I asked that I could please not stack the 15% off with the 20% off coupon, but please just receive 20% off the item. The clerk told me that they could not do that because it was "already in the computer" and they couldn't change it. Please empower your employees to do the right thing in this situation, and if they are able to do this, reinforce that this is something that they should do for customers.

Received email about store renovation plans. Stated that curbside pick up was available. I chose curbside pickup (vs shipping) at checkout, which was confirmed at order confirmation. When arriving at store, was told that curbside would not start until the following week and order would have to be picked up in-store. Had I known that, I would have chosen shipping. At the time, circumstances made it difficult for my husband and me to walk around, much less carry large bags of seed. This may seem like a small thing but we have never encountered this level of indifference at this store. Their fantastic level of customer service was one of the main reasons we remained customers for years. And the receipt attached to our order clearly said “Curbside”. . .

I’ve been coming in on a regular basis looking for a connector for a pole system purchased in the fall for a birdhouse. You finally had one for $9.99. I wanted to use my coupon and was told the connector was on clearance so I couldn’t use it. I’ve been waiting months to get a connector because you were out and didn’t know when you’d get any in. Someone could have called me to let me know you had one. Most stores do not put out items on clearance unless they want to get rid of the item. So I had to pay full price for a part that may work with your pile system once the ground is unfrozen for me to install it. If it doesn’t work, everything will be returned and I will shop elsewhere.
