Gulf Coast Zoo

The animals were easily seen, close and active. There were multiple options for encounters. Would have liked the exhibits to be a little more comfortable for the animals- pools in enclosures for tigers, camels etc.

It was okay. Need more restroom stalls. Only had two available. Needs more trash cans only two available in picnic area and was overflowing.

Not enough exhibits but fun encounters

the animals were all in distress and needed some type of air conditioning. most of the animals there are not use to that type of weather. water should always be available for every animal at all times. the weather in Alabama is very unpredictable and can change at any moment these animals should be taken to a place where they are absolutely going to be taking care of to the fullest. every animal was panting and looking for some type of relief from the heat. I honestly think they should expand and upgrade for the health and well fare of the animals or close.

Felt sorry for the animals in their tiny cages, zoo was way smaller than expected, didn't take long at all to see the whole thing.

Very disappointed with this. Animals all had very small and trashy habitats/cages. The alligators had no room to swim. The reptile exhibit was very cramped. All the animals were panting and it seemed as though there was no drinking water available. My friend and I went with the expectation of being able to interact with a lot of animals. After getting there, we found out that with interaction comes 7 other people in the small cage. I would not recommend this zoo to anyone.
