My father was staying there because he is a patient at MD Anderson and was given a special rate because of an agreement between the hotel and the American Cancer Society.

The check in staff was great. They were very helpful and informative plus they greet with a smile. There was one gentleman in a suit that I would hire to work for me in a heartbeat. Kudos to him. It was clear that the omelette cook hates his job. His attitude was not what I expect in a customer service industry. The staff that walks around at breakfast is to die for. There was one lady that made my stay worth the while. She was friendly and very helpful. The bar staff was not bad but not great either. The key is listen. Your sweet and sour or margarita mix tastes like water. The bad mix makes the low level liquor taste watered down. In the end I got smart and ordered drinks that didn't require the mix. Overall it was a nice experience and a very nice hotel.
