I asked the price of the birthday cake "happy birthday" charm and was told $40.00. The rep Tiffany did not mention to me after ringing up the charm the price was actually $45.00. When she told me the total of $48.42, i handed her cash, and she took the charm to be gift wrapped and to get my change. I asked another rep if i was paying 20% tax and she told ke it was about 7%. When tiffany brought my change back, i asked if the charm was 40.00 why was i paying almost $8.50 in tax which she then informed me tax was $3.42 and the charm was $45.00, explaining some charms recently had gone through a price change. Another rep offered to process a return and ring the charm at $40.00 to which i declined, as i would have purchased the charm regardless of price; however, tiffany should have informed me the difference after ringing it in at $45.00 knowing she told me it was $40.00
