It was too crowded. However in all fairness it is the Holiday Season. The person who assisted was pleasant.

The layout of the shop makes it difficult to look at items while you have to face the always long wait for an assistant to become available to help you. I often walk into the store and leave without purchasing anything as the queue for service is too long yet you still feel that using a member of staff to tell people to stand in a queue rather than actually serve people is a sensible solution.

The sales assistant was easily distracted and was chatting to other sales assistants. Found it quite rude.

I walked into the store ask for a specific Item they were sold out. I ask for the display of the item i wanted which was there. Had to ask 3 different people. Finally got it. There was no holiday deals going on

I went to the Pandora shop at Herald Square the weekend between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. There was a line outside the store but one of the associate was kind enough to let a few of us stand in line in a corner as it was chilly. It was indeed thoughtful of her. I went there as my daughter (who is in Singapore) requested for Bruno the Unicorn and the rose clasp bracelet. I wanted to go online to get it to avoid the crowds. But Bruno was out of stock online. Anyways, the prices were not really cheaper despite the 25% discount overall as compared to the Black Friday sale in Singapore. Nevertheless, I got the two items and a pair of clasps plus two cleaning kits. One of the cleaning kits was for myself as I do have a bracelet with charms bought by my husband years ago. The charms and the bracelet had tarnished and I am glad that the sales associate recommended the cleaning kit. She was very good at cross-selling as she got me to buy a pair of the clasp and explained the reason for her recommendation. So I ended buying more than I had wanted.

I was visiting from the UK so not likely to return in near future. I was disappointed that I was unable to pay with my pre paid MasterCard. This was because I did not have iD on me. I did not carry my passport around with me. I visited Bloomingdales Macy’s Tiffany’s and other stores and Pandywas the only one where there was a problem. Whilst I understand the need for security on a pre paid the damage would be limited. I was lucky I had enough dollars to make my purchase!! Not happy though
