Couldn't use gift card at the pump

I used my credit card in order to get the .03 discount on fuel. It did not register. I asked sales clerk and she told me it would be applied after I pumped the gas. That was not true. She clearly was not informed. I am very disappointed that there was no resolution in order for me to receive the discount as clearly labeled on the pump.
