John Ascuaga's

Always great but needs some renovations.

We love staying at the Nugget but it seems to be going downhill lately. We come to Reno about 5 times a year and always stay here. But the rooms aren't as clean as they could be, they're old, the cleaning crew always leaves something behind or forgets to clean something, and I've even seen underwear left in the room from the previous guest. The hot tub in the room doesn't hold enough water and the seals are old so the water drains as you're sitting in it (and that's in every room we've had). The prime rib buffet was awful! The front desk staff is never very friendly anymore. I think it's time to find a new place to stay.

We visited Rosie's cafe inside John ascuaga's. We had to wait in line to be seated and to be checked out. The sauce on the pasta dishes we got was very watery- more like a soup than sauce

Need to renovate. Had no toothpaste or other travel supplies most hotels have for their guest
