It was a great experience! A lot of the animals were in the shade and were hard to see but I understand because of the heat. Had a fun time :)

The one thing that stands out first in my mind is the high bushes and other plant life that is so tall around a lot of the exhibits that you can't see over to see the animals. It was all close to the fences and not near the animals so there is no reason for it to be that high. That blocked or made it very hard to see the animals on lots of exhibits, especially for kids and shorter people (5'4) like me. That's how high a lot of the growth near fences was. That is my main issue. The staff were very very friendly. Everything is wheelchair accessible (though the high overgrowth I was speaking of above made that especially hard to view the animals if you are in a wheelchair). Overall it was good.
