If the paths were not cut off would have been better than going up and down the same path to get to the other side

I really have no complaints about the visit itself and the experience it supplied for my little guy. We stopped by the cafe and snacked while we there and enjoyed an appealing menu for a little one with prices that, with the exception of drinks, were not overpriced. I did however have a little hesitation in passing the entrance fee. This facility not that long ago had free admission. While I understand the need to charge to help maintain the grounds and animals, I do not think it should have gone from free to $11.50 & $8 for adults and children 3 and up respectively. This amount seems a bit excessive straight out of the box.

Many of the animals were not available so the signs on the enclosures said. I remember when the zoo was free. There were a lot more displays then. I can't believe that I paid for that experience. My entire family felt we needed to tell the long line of customers waiting to get in that it was not at all worth it. It wasn't miserable but it was certainly disappointing.
