Everyone was friendly but one bad experience with staff behind the counter at Junction cafe. She didn't know how much some items cost that were not on the menu (like a hotdog not on a combo). Also briefly argued with me that I said an apple and not apple slices.

We spent a cully, beautiful fall day at the zoo and loved it! Most of the animals were visible! The gorilla, chimpanzees, and seals were right in front of the viewing area. The only disappointment was that we couldn't see the polar bear in its lovely new habitat. Although, that was one of our last stops, so he could have gone away for the night by the time we got there around 4:30.
