I feel so bad about saying this because I grew up at discovery place and have so many memories there. But this place is really going down hill. The food flat out sucked!!! I have had better at a gas station. The past couple of shows have been trash. The guitars was lame and the metal dinosaurs were a joke. Really really miss the old discovery place and not sure I will renew my membership

Wow. So I had a fun time planned with my 6 year old son. Discovery place for the cost seemed to be a good full day of learning, science and discovery. I was pretty bummed to see that after 1 hour we were done with the entire place. I'd say 40% of the "experiments" or hands on items on the 2nd floor didn't work. The dinosaurs alive steam area was boring and lacking. Too many uncontrolled kids cutting lines, running around and making a mess without any supervision or control from employees (where were the employees?!). This place was pretty disappointing and a waste of money. I won't be coming back unless it's free. And based on the quality of everything it seems everyone is getting in for free or else they don't know how to use their admission funds to better the place. Sad.
