THis store is the best kept secret in Ankeny! Gas and cigg prices are the best in town. The staff is friendly and helpful. The biggest suggestion I have can't be taken care of at a store level. The big gas sign and the pumps are labeled incorrectly and in this state illegal. In the corn state of Iowa any gas that contains ethonal has to be called super. Super unleaded at your location is what you have labeled at your midgrade and your lowest grade is labeled unleaded. This is a problem for two reasons , people will pump the "unleaded" thinking they are getting a great deal on the non alcohol gas they can put in their lawnmowers and such and your going to end up buying someone mower! The other issue is people are going to look at what you have labeled as super unleaded and think your priced way too high because a hundred yards away the can get super unleaded twenty or thirty cents cheaper. They are not going to look at the octane they are looking at the label. I'm surprised the state has not come in and fined this location or even worse shut it down till the issue is corrected.
