Before this station opened in Oakland, the rest of the gas stations were in collusion to keep pricing artificially high. No one could ever prove it, but now that Murphy opened, they are all different prices. Murphy is consistently the lowest and offers the best value in location, convenience, and service. I drive 8 extra miles to save 10 cents per gallon on average to buy from this station.
