Waitress was very friendly, but over does it with all the "does the gentleman this" or "does the lady that" throughout the meal. Coffee carafe had old dried food on the outside of it making it very unappealing. My wife's hash browns were extremely greasy, the cheese on our omelets was not melted and my pancakes were raw and doughy on the inside.

Not happy in Nampa

I was skipped 3 times by the hostess taking names, so I went to the cashier to place an order to go- she seated me at a 2 top. I did not get a menu, but had seen an ad for a breakfast item, so I ordered that. The food was soggy, not very hot and I ended up getting sick 20 minutes after I left the restaurant. When I called the store to tell them of my experience, it was brushed off and excused...in fact I was told it was my fault-because they have a disclaimer on their menu regarding eggs. Needless to say it will be awhile before I'm willing to chance that again.

My fiance and I and his sister went to dinner..we hadn't seen each other in a few weeks and we were there to let her know I was going in for surgery..from start to finish we were there less than an hour...especially after our waitress told us we needed to do less talking and more eating..we told her to bring us a box and our check..food wasn't bad..not great..but not bad..but our waitress had been ride from the second we sat down.

The quality of the food was not good. The eggs and ham or maybe it was the English muffin tasted off and the hash browns I believe were under cooked. The pancake was over cooked. The french toast didn't taste good either. Server could had asked us if we needed anything else before rushing off but she really did a good job overall.

The service was not the best, the food was not appealing to look at,rye bread was old fell apart when tried to pick it up,cherry pie was all in pieces and the manager Brandon I think his name was,was not very professional dressed down an employee in the dining room and his whole attitude left a lot to be desired. Will not go back when he is on shift and probably will never recommend this Shari's to anyone I know.

I ordered a meal that said it would have vegetables. When it came, there were mashed potatoes, instead. I was preoccupied with details of a family gathering, on my phone, and did not notice until much later. I thought it was odd to have both potatoes and rice, but it looked good, and I ate it. The waiter seemed very attentive, even for Shari's, and in hindsight, I think he had noticed the error, and was waiting for me to mention it. I am confident he would have made it right, in whatever manner I could have asked. The kitchen staff is another matter. Anyone can look at a plate with two starches and see it is not right. The waiter could have caught it, but what avenue do you have for a waiter to fix problems like that? There were two new waitresses being trained, which was confusing for everyone, too.

We were seated and then watched not 1, but 3 different waiters look at us and keep on moving - after waiting almost 13 minuets (no water or coffee) I motioned for a waiter who was about to walk by that either she take our order or we were leaving - she took the order however did NOT write it down and when the order arrived it was wrong

Limited menu selection, and most of what was offered was not appealing. The food I did order was mediocre in appeal and flavor, and its temperature was only tepid. The only wheat bread offered contains cracked wheat kernels. A great deal of people in their senior years suffer from diverticulitis, and cannot eat such seeds and kernels. Further, we chose to visit Shari's on a Wednesday because it is advertised as "free pie day". Our visit was late afternoon (3:32 p.m. on the receipt). If you're not going to engage in deceptive advertisement, then be specific as to when your incentives are available.

I've been eating here for 15 years, and have never been more disappointed. Ever. I called this morning at 0531 - spoke to a cranky woman on the phone and when I said "I'd like to place an order for pick-up" the rude woman HUNG UP ON ME. I really did want those biscuits and gravy, so I called back again at 0533. Same RUDE AS HECK woman answered the phone, cranky, full of venom, and obviously hating life and every person in it. And I said again, "I'd like to place an order for pick-up". I would have expected a "Ma'am, did you just call a minute ago? So sorry I lost you! I'd be happy to place an order for you!" Instead I got a big sigh and a "whatddya want?". Well, at 0530 in the morning I want a pleasant voice and a little appreciation for calling Shari's instead of The Egg Factory. I was ready to deliver a pretty serious tail-chewing when I arrived to pick-up my order, but sweet Beth was at the counter and - as usual - she was absolutely lovely. What a doll. I just didn't have it in me to let her have it over the beachy whale that took my 2 phone calls. I will say this - we won't be back. I will forever more place my to-go breakfast orders elsewhere.
