the prime rib sandwich had no flavor other than the onions the meat was on only one side of the roll. The country fried steak was overdone and had no flavor. The Pie was very good. If ever I want only desert I would consider coming back to Sharis for a piece of pie.

The last few times I have eaten at Shari's the food I ordered appeared and tasted as though it was frozen prepared food and heated to serve, specifically the battered fish fillets and the chicken fried steak. I could get the same thing in the frozen food department at a grocery store and prepare at home. I'm quite disappointed that the quality has gone down. I once looked forward to eating at this restaurant......

Shari's has good food but every time we try to come back because maybe has changed, the service still is slow. Takes forever to get seated and there were empty tables, and takes forever to order and get our food. We will not be back for quite awhile. Maybe things will change but we have heard others say the same thing.

We requested a certain server, who we always ask for. Another server came and seated us. She was very inattentive, and not easy to talk to. We saw her when she asked what we wanted to drink, once when she brought our food and once when she brought our check. The coffee carafe she left had enough for one half cup refill. Very poor service.

For the price we paid, 33.00 dollars for 2 meals, what we received was 2 iced teas, no refills. The beer battered fish and chip meal came with a small cup of soup. Soup was satisfactory, however the fish and chips, 2 small pieces of "Gordons" style fish overly fried(dark brown) and French fries in a wire basket. The fish was barely edible. The chicken fried steak was under portioned, the size of a hamburger patty, the fresh California vegetables for previously frozen from a bag and were soggy. Mashed potatoes with gravy were satisfactory, but bland, I added salt and pepper. We were hungry and can eat most foods, sometimes my home cooked meals turn out this way! however for what we paid, just not worth it.

we purchase a pie whole pie to go (Chocolate Cream) which was the monthly (April 2017) special listed at $8.99 but was charge $10.99 normal price. We didn't notice until after home. I know it's was only a $2.00 difference, yet I wonder and the point being, is how many times has this happen to others and where is that extra money going...inside someones pocket?? We left them also over 20 percent tip...hummm, guess that wasn't enough??

Be PREPARED Shari's!! Thankfully, Shari's was the only restaurants open in our area, and everyone knew it. While waiting the 30+ minutes in the lobby be to be seated, I overheard an employee saying that yesterday (Christmas Eve), the line was out the door. When my son & I were finally seated around 7PM, there was still enough seating in the lobby. When we left about an hour later, there was standing room only in the lobby AND the inside entrance. The pie cases were nearly empty. Did any of your workers get their REQUIRED BY LAW breaks? Probably not. Your managers should be given special recognition for how well and gracious they handled the very challenging situation. It was obvious the food portions were smaller than usual, the kitchen was probably running out of food. To see the pie case nearly empty when walking into a Shari's is not a welcoming site. You knew it was a major holiday and could have been much better prepared and not be running out of food. After waiting in line at least 5 minutes for a cashier to appear, after I paid my bill with cash, she crumpled up receipt without asking if I would like it. She then ironed it out with hand
