The server, Michelle was her usual excellent self. As a bachelor I have eaten out literally thousands of times. I cannot ever remember a more unwelcome intrusion than the employee in charge - a male by the name of SEAN OR SHAWN. He came over to ask if we wanted to hear a dirty joke. Several of us said no. He interrupted and spoke over us by raising his volume. It was a filthy joke that was 100% inappropriate and unwelcome. He needs to be fired. Otherwise, our group of four to eight will find another place to patronize every Saturday night.

Well, it took over 45 minutes for a server to acknowledge my presence. We weren't actually served by our waiter it was the host. Who was very nice. It also took longer than 15 minutes to receive my food and it was not offered for free!

A co worker and myself ordered some food for pick up. I ordered the oatmeal. My co worker went and picked it up and when he came back with it, it was in a huge to go container with lumps of cold oatmeal some were sponge like and others were hard. I call the restaurant and requested a refund and spoke to Cheyenne. First I asked her for a manager she informed me that there was no manager in that she and the cook were the ones in charge. I told her about needing a refund she asked why and I told her about the state of the oatmeal and the inappropriate size of the container it was in. She stated that things at night are different at Sharis and their manager locks everything up so they have to just use what they can. I told her I did not feel that the customer should have to pay for their lack of containers at night. She said there was nothing she could do for me. I asked when the manager would be in she said 6 am. I asked for the name of the manager she was very rude and said "Uh which one? There are like three.." I told her the name of the manager coming in at 6am. She told me Gloria. So long story short I will have to drive down to Sharis in the morning after working all night.......

There were two other people in Shari's and it took quite a while to get our food. When it arrived the toast was cold and burned black. When people are in a hurry they don't want to wait when it was so empty. We were given excuses for why the fruit wasn't fresh and appetizing as it is at Denny's. That we don't cut up fruit. Shari's used to be good but now they are just expensive and poor food quality.

It took 45 min. to receive our food, we were about to leave when our waitress, Tylea, finally came with the food. This was the 1st time in that 45 min. that she had come to our table. We had no drink refills during this time. When I started to complain about this, she turned to my husband and talked right over the top of me, ignoring what I was saying. She wouldn't listen and she was very rude. We couldn't eat fast enough to just get out of there. We usually enjoy Sharis but at this point, we will not be back and we are telling all of our friends and co-workers. This rudeness is unacceptable. All she would have had to do was listen to me and apologize for the tardiness of the meal. Talking above one who is speaking turns off both the speaker and the others at the table.

It was a little busy. Being a server, I understand that. But it seemed a little excessive how long we waited for everything. Our server was very sweet and kind about it all. But when I went back to get an itemized receipt for our meal, the manager came off as a little rude and kind of snapped at me. I did not appreciate the attitude and don't plan on coming back at all. Deb I believe her name was. Coming from a guest stand point, I felt very uncomfortable and targeted. This is not how you acquire business.

The last 4 or 5 times we have gone they mess up my husband's order. He is allergic to onions and yet they still put them on when told. The last time we went my sons mini burgers finally came after we all ate and my husband's burger had been made twice. This time the manager recognized us and glared while we placed our order. When my husband's food came wrong AGAIN she says what's wrong with it loud enough to hear across restaraunt. We have always done kids eat free night and when asked why they weren't free she said Sharis hasn't done that in a really long time, but we did it a couple months ago. Needless to say Debbie at this Yakima Sharis has horrible customer service skills and because of the way we were treated by her tonight and on our previous visit we will never go back again!!!! We still kept coming even with messed up orders but the degrading way she spoke to us was unacceptable!!!
