Manager was very unfriendly in greeting but I let that go at first, however, this was a problem in the end. His Thank you was rude and insincere, and did not ask me how things were. The server was busy with a full set of tables but that is no excuse! She did not offer me a beverage, besides my water that the manager, seemed to be bothered bringing when he sat me. The server did not make it pleasureable when interacting with me and took the order, grabbed my menu and walked away in haste. When I received the plate, it was luke warm but tasted good, so I ate it and kept my mouth shut, as it wasnt that bad and it was hectic. However, since she did not give me a good thank you and make sure I did not want anything else or offer my dessert and a to go box, I have to mention it!! She told me she was leaving and that another person would be over to help but I waited several minutes, as I noticed my original server walk by with more food to other tables and 2 other male servers pass by my table, without aknowledgement several times. Daniel was the person to come over and he seemed confused to why I looked upset.

During this visit we waited literally ONE HOUR to be seated when we were quoted 10 minutes.. big difference. THEN 45 minutes for our food, which a few things were not even fresh/hot. You were out of baked potatoes and other things. Service was rushed, understaffed, and not present enough. Dining room was unoccupied but all tables were a mess and we were wondering why we waited an hour to be seated when it was mostly empty. employees were discombobulated and unapologetic. We really wanted to show off Shari's to represent good old American diner food to our family from overseas, but after THIS horrendous display of wait time, bad service/bad food, no apology/discount or compensation for the worst time of our lives at a restaurant, we will never come back to Shari's ever again. Including other locations or recommending it to our friends/family forevermore. I want my money back or someone to make things right with this. We were there from 7pm to 9:30pm, no exaggeration.. just to eat out for dinner, one meal. 2.5 hours! We had a child with us. We are patient people, but this was outrageous. Unacceptable. I ordered the Salmon Omelette. We waited for almost 40 minutes to get the food. It seems there was only one server. When the food finally arrived, it was COLD. The salmon seemed like it came out of the refrigerator. The coffee was cold as well, even when we got a refill. I have been to this Sharis and others several times. I just may not never come again, or at least never order this particular menu item.

Unsafe food, we ordered salad and egg omelette. The salad was way too dark and brown wilted smelling like garbage and was soaked in a rancid smelling dressing that made it seem gooey and inedible. Also the salad should remain cold and served cold but was near room temp as if it had been sitting out for hours. We refused to eat it and concerned anyone who does may become sick. The omelette was also dangerously bad, it was less than room temp and when dissecting we found that it too appears to have sat out for hours as it had been become stale and hard, this dish consists of egg, meat, and cheese and could easily have contracted bacteria causing severe illness if consumed. Our waitress told us she was embarrassed to work there and serve the food as she knows how bad it is behind the scenes, she told us if we could see what she sees in the kitchen we would never eat there. We spoke with the manager and he did not show any care or concern, he said a health inspector was just there the other day and he's not worried at all. Someone will end up getting very sick there if the city doesn't put a stop to to their bad business, We filed a complaint with King Count health and human services.

Our server was super rude. I understand that we wanted dinner foods at 615am but thats no reason to be rude. I asked if an item was availible and rather than just inform me it was jot she made a huge issue out of it. I ended up ordering something else which was already my back up. She also seamed really put out to have to make a milkshake.

I came in and the server was busy cashing a large party who had split their check. So I sat down at the counter and patiently waited after grabbing my own menu. After he completed cashing them out he obtained my drink order. Which I opted for water until I decide on what to eat for the beverage for my meal. I know Sharis Menu changes a lot so when he took my order and not seeing the rise and shine menu or just what I wanted I let him know. I wanted 1 egg 1 sausage, hashbrowns and toast. He stated he would find the cheapest option like I was trying to be cheap. I know how much each item is individually as I had worked for Sharis for 13 years most of which at this location. I didn't care if it was cheaper or not. So I received my order after it had been sitting up in the window a little longer after it was ready as my server was busy with side work. Upon receiving my order I was displeased to find 2 eggs and 2 sausages. I also ordered a side of country gravy for my hash browns and again informed of price. $1 for microwaved to order country gravy. I know from first hand experience how Sharis likes to save food cost for bonuses for management. Instead of keeping gravy on line.

The food was horrible and wasnt even what was ordered. The fish n chips were completely over cooked and yet still managed to be slimy and had a terrible fishy taste. They were out of fries which is understandable but was given tots as a replacement without even being asked if something different was prefered. The waiter did not inquire if the meal was acceptable or even how it tasted.. which again was terrible. All while the waiter was overheard complaining about coworkers to his boss in the kitchen. I dont expect much service at 1am, but waiting for your waiter to stop complaining so I could order something else to eat was a bit much and ended up getting it to go. Might add that when adding a shake the waiter mistakenly brought me pie.. clearly not paying much attention given that I had pointed to the shake even on the menu.. not to mention saying SHAKE. This was overall very frustrating. I work a late shift and options are limited for late night dinner options and was hoping this would be a nice alternative. With service and food quality like tonights I do not plan on coming back to Sharis

It took forever to be seated and when we tried to leave, it took forever to get a cashier. The restrooms are absolutely filthy and the staff is just not up to par. Don't send me a coupon code. I will never go to another Shari's again. This is not my first bad experience. I have tried more than one and none of them are good!

My waitress hates me. Have been coming to this location once a month for about 6 months. Have had same wairess each time she was obviously upset that my friend and I want to sit for 1 hour before we order. Have been tipping 25 percent in hope she would be ok with us. This time she did not once come to fill coffee, walked away when asked for cream and we had to resort to flagging a manager for beverage. Had to go find another waitress to order. Food not brought for 25 minutes after ordering. Did not tip her this time or will I be meeting my friend at Shari's totem lake again.
