The staff was short one server and one cook and that made everything slow. We go here once a week and this is the first time we have had that slow of service. It was not the fault of our server, she was very good and apologetic. I told her she did a good job.

1. I tried to call in my order 3 times ahead of time and reached a fast bust signal. 2. Upon arrival waiter told me the Bavarian burger was unavailable do to no burger patties.

There was extensive noise when depositing dirty dishes in the containers.

It was just extremely busy and parking was a little difficult. The staff was doing everything they could to attend to everyone. Was just a little longer than I've been use to.

Took too long to be seated. Also felt like they were understaffed, which caused a rushed and tensed atmosphere.

The waitress was friendly and nice but not as attentive or speedy. We had to keep looking around for her. Luckily we were not in a rush for anything. The Summer Salad was missing the balsamic glaze on the chicken as it appeared on the menu and the description but I couldn't find our waitress to let her know and I was getting hungry so I didn't inform her or bring it up. The salad was tasty without it but I did notice it was missing. Again, our waitress was very nice.

As mentioned previously, prices are high for Seniors on limited income. My wife and I are octogenarians and like to eat out once in a while but appreciate good value for our money.

I have been eating at my local (was 3, but now 2) Shari's for 20 yrs. and have found the portion size has gradually declined while the price has increased, especially during these more recent years. Another issue more recently is that the fruit garnish is downright "tired" (eg: flabby watermelon, dehydrated orange slice). Several months ago I did tell the server that the fruit piece was moldy and he brought a beautiful. large strawberry to replace it (very much appreciated), but the original fruit piece should never have been served. Also. last March, my friend and I ordered the pot roast, which had an unpleasant strong meat taste. I was able to eat it, but my friend wasn't--the server very nicely canceled the amount on her bill. I realize the restaurant business is tough, but I am beginning to wonder if I should just buy a pie to go and skip the meal!

Just another restaurant that we frequent.
