Shari's

The quality of chain restaurant food is often average at best. Shari's is on par with Denny's -- simple food, while decent, not extraordinary, especially in the portion size of some of the items. I would choose other items if it were not for the fact that I don't feel the portion size reflects good value.

Wednesdays are busier so everything took a little longer and that is ok. Waitress was really friendly but that slowed down some things. The only thing that should have been quicker was the initial waters. We actually ordered our food before getting water. (kids just came from running so we were thirsty)

First time our food was not delivered in a timely manner. I assume that maybe one cook was late getting to work.

It took a long while to receive our order and the food was pretty good but a bit bland. Other than that, it was good experience.

Whenever I order a sandwich there is always mayo in the middle of the bread, not spread out over the entire slice. Once when I ordered a sandwich it was made on two smaller pieces of bread rather than a sandwich cut in half. I prefer that. Also, I wanted soup but didn't like the selections (chicken noodle and butternut squash).

The pot roast had a freezer taste to it - the waitress would come over aver 5 minutes to ask how the food was and did we need anything - "Rude" could not have a conversation with other member of the party.

This location was sold out of most pies. Also, the server wasn't very friendly and seemed like they disliked their job.

Delay at cash register - under staffed?

The waitress did not give us enough time to look at the menus and decide what we wanted. The food was small portions for the price, and she did not come over once and fill up our water or coffee, the only time we saw her was when she took our order, brought the food, and the check.
