We were loyal customers for several years, but were disappointed with rising prices and poor service. We stopped going. We went tonight (04-15-16) for Prime Rib at store #217 in Spokane Valley. The meal was served luke warm and OVER COOKED (ordered medium. Came well done) and looked like it had sat out for a while. When I complained the manager explained that all prime rib is shipped pre-cooked and they had little control, and probably couldn't do what I requested. Hating to waste food, I accepted the meal. No effort was made to discount our meal. I did not ask for any discount, although it should have been either discounted or complimentary (it wasn't my fault that you ruined it, inspite of my graciousness in accepting it anyway). It is with regret that I say we will not be back. Ihop has better breakfasts, prices and service. You've lost a long-time customer . . . and our friends. Good pies cannot make up for incompetence in the kitchen and a lack of customer service. You aren't in the food business. You're in the cusotmer service business.

Not welcoming and chef not very able to make eggs

Pancakes were cold and crusty. Send back and ordered toast. Disorganized at check in, lots of empty tables but still waited 20 minutes. Disorganized at register to pay bill, took way too long.

Manager was not busy & could have helped in seating patrons, 2-waiter was not sure of policy with discount coupon, 3 -seafood plate was over done, 4- rolls with dinner, & honey for tea needed to be asked for, 5- we were charged for the wrong items ( up grade ) this was corrected upon request. Normily we look forward to our visits to Shari`s as they are very pleasant & the food is good.

ordered nw steak salad. ordered steak med. rare. came came well done -burnt. salad had no nuts. asked for and received nuts. did not see server for approx. 20 min. when she brought bill. no refill on coffee .

The chicken was not cooked throughly. Team member did not offer to take it and make it right. The actual meal did not match the picture on the menu, the the waitress tryed to make excuses why it didn't match. I had the chicken mozzarella dish which is very good though.

I ordered the BLT and the tomatoes were green the pickle was old and squishy dark green almost black on the outside and dark green spots inside. I showed both to Devin and he shrugged and ask me what kind of pie I would like. The pie was delicious. This was not my first time here. Next time I think I will come for pie and eat dinner somewhere else.

No staff were any where near the front when we came in & we had to wait to even be acknowledged. It seemed there just wasn't enough staff. Coffee was completely cold. Serving size of hash browns very small. I ordered eggs over medium, but they were over easy with clear egg whites. The pancakes were not tasty & were soggy. No jam on the table any more, just a dab of jam in a small dish, and we weren't given any choice. My sausages were closed to burnt & the waiter asked if I would accept them, which I did. Cost was high for quantity of food on plates. Breakfast for 2 seniors should not come to almost $30 for standard menu items. It will be a long time before we return to one of our favorite eating places. We were very disappointed.

I came in ordered 2 entries, 1st was the stuffed hash-browns and New York strip platter with the steak raw it was delivered medium to medium well. The 2nd was the cinnamon bun platter with the hash-browns to be stuffed hash-browns from which those came out normally. It also took 20 min to greet my table of 2 people and get drinks on the table.

When we got our food my sampler platter all four of the items were over cooked. Could not even eat half of them. My husband ordered the meat lovers skillet. When our food was brought we were asked if we wanted ketchup or other condiments. My husband said ketchup, but his breakfast was cold by the time the waitress brought the ketchup to him. She never refilled our water or our coffee after having the pot sit open on the edge of the table for over 30 minutes. It took over 20 minutes for her to bring me the creamer I asked for. She joked about her forgetfulness after forgetting the third time.
